VSDT Super Rugby

Hi all,

Apparently the VSDT Super Rugby comp will be open soon. Last year was a debacle due to the RWC but this year should be back to normal.

We had a few people playing last year, wondering if it might be worth opening a league for NRLFFs?

Let me know if you are keen to play. Also, I guess if there is interest in a cash comp let me know too.

I propose something similar to what we've done with NFl. $50 entry, and prize break-down determined by how many entre.

I'm up for it Rippin. Put me down for a league spot if it goes ahead. Thanks for the info, I thought they might bin it this season
as Rugby is on the nose with Foxtel and other outlets may follow. Foxtels's decision to sack McCardle is wrong on so many fronts.
He was the only two eyed commentator, he asked hard questions, he was insightful and courteous. Instead they keep wankers
like Kearns and Martin.

Yeah just free one for me too mate. I havent played SR DT in a few years so would just be making up the numbers getting used to the new players atm that werent around 3-4 seasons ago.

Important info (as I understand things): All Blacks will be limited to 180 minutes across the first three games with the preference that this is broken down as 40, 60, 80 across the three games.

In addition I also understand all All Blacks will be required to be rested for two games during the season.

TLDR, its gonna be a bit of a crap shoot again this season....

Be very careful of the second game tonight Rippin. As in the cricket, Canberra is smoke central at the moment. This game may be cancelled due to
weather conditions.Nothing official yet but be aware it may happen. My brumbies and reds are on the pine or traded for players that are definite starters
also limiting Kiwi internationals because of their resting policy.

Yeah, I have very few All Blacks. To be honest though, I cant actually find the list of 31 that have time restrictions placed on them....

I do not have a list either Rippin. Guys like Perenara, Laumape and the Barrett brothers who are starting are only safe to halftime as far
as I am concerned so you have to weigh up the pros and cons of picking them first up. Good luck with your picks mate.

Man i've taken a stab at this and i have tonnes of cash spare so I can pick up guys like Cruden, McKenzie et. al later on.

Just joined the league, only 4 of us in there. I will try keep on it this year .

I think laumape is good to go. I read he already did his minutes restriction during pre season. But also, he wasn’t in the AB squad last year so figured he would be fine anyway.
A few players from me u could look at:
Karpik, kirifi, tupae, taukiahau, Christie, Fletcher Smith, perofeta... all
Guys off the top of my head that might not be very well known. Satutu as well

By the looks of the first game Talea feels promising and Taukiahau now that Harris is severely injured. Chiefs scrum stuffed because their
props are injured already.

Two tries for Taukei'aho. Satutu looking good for his price. Man to have so far is Ioane though!

Any more news on the Brumbies game mate @Trajan?
