I hit a pretty average 428 - 50 short of a good score I reckon. I had my C on WIll Jordan all week only to take it off and put on Koribete.

Captained Richie Mo’unga a huge 8 points towards a dreadful 350 all out. Guess I will have to do it the hard way. The only saving grace was

I went with a tactic of largely avoiding the All Blacks. I would have otherwise had Mounga, Scott Barret, Tuipulotu, + several others in a heart beat. I think it will be quite easy this year to get the 'gun team' together as so many players will be at a discount from round 3....

Feel a lot better about my 116 from 5 this week. For a ball park, what’s a decent captains score? Would you bank 40s (doubles to 80) each week?

Captains are a bit of a funny one in Union. The guys who should consistently score well are the 1st fives as they get a lot of ball going their way, kick goals, in game kicking etc. And I think 40-50 is worth taking. That said, outside backs can score anywhere from 10 to 100+. So it becomes a huge gamble if your option is to rely on an outside back.

I try and vc loop an outside back, and then have my first five as a back up if at al possible.

TLDR, yup prob mid 40s + is enough to take as captain.

Watching the canes I think the 34 was the better option too

Hey Clack - I've bailed on this one unfortunately. My season came a cropper a while ago so decided to sink my time into NRL... GL though

Well that was a weird round. I had 2 0's and my captain scored 2 and I still managed 404pts and dropped 22 places. Ranked 249th. Not great. Already 254pts from 20th place.

I think so mate. He wasn't selected this week so I guess he was. I sold him. 1st time Ive bothered with vc loophole today. Had it on Telea. Threw the C on Lomani at Scrumhalf. Didnt even notice til last week it was rolling lockout lol I just picked my team and done trades on friday and didnt check until end of weekend.
