2006 is sadly nearing an end so fastforward to 2020...

Traded out Dfifita, Arrow and Fus and brought in Issako, Twal and Yeo.

Got $240k and one trade left to figure out whether Knight or Watkins leaves and who for. If hopoate looks to have some job security then he's in.

Just checking, did we used to get 36 trades in a normal VSDT season? now its 30, with 6 less rounds and no origin?

Any other changes other than 4 trades for this next round?

Seems like we have even greater license to trade hard early - that your impression? I guess we kinda 'lose' a couple (more accurately we use a couple extra we otherwise wouldnt) in that we are having to plug wholes now given what the break has turned up, but ultimately we probably need to just go hard to generate cash etc...

I'm finding it hard to plan trades in this.

The guys I want to ditch are a lot cheaper than the guys I want to bring in, so compromises have to be made.

With 2 freebie weeks, easy to avoid Grant at the start to let my current hookers (Koro + Brailey) make some cash. Bring Grant in round 4 or 5.

TLT a big factor in trades, seeing if Guler and/or Horsburgh are worthwhile

I'm looking at Stimson and Williams definite outs, with Koroisau being a definite in meaning the end of Friend.

Also need to trade in a WFB for Aekins/Kennedy and have Fifita to deal with.

At this stage I'll be holding both Fifita and Cleary for atleast 1 week

G wiilliams out is interesting, it’s something I’ve thought about but given his base stats surely he’s a hold. Isaako is good but couldn’t you trade Kennedy for him?

The problem with going Kennedy to Isaako is in round 4 I'll have Ponga, Pappy, Drinkwater, Isaako, Wiliame as my wfb's & 1 of the first 4 will miss out which is a waste of money having them in my npr's. I might keep Kennedy because Moylan & Dugan will break down & get injured soon enough so I'm sure Kennedy will get more games. I'm not too worried about losing G. Williams because he has the Storm in round 3 & he won't score that well plus Wighton & the left edge seems to be dominating the ball on attack.

That's true, I'll have Hughes, Ponga, Isaako, Drinkwater and williame.

Might have just take stabs on match ups as I think there is money in Williams.

Interesting move - can't decide if I think it's a good one or not. I think if you were going to do it it could only be Williams, couldn't it? Luai going into two weeks without Cleary with plenty of money to make puts him out of contention for me.

Wouldn't even consider the other two.
