Sportsdeck VSDT 2020 Part 1

I already have Grant and McInnes and this trading before their 3rd round update has help with this weeks trades.
ATM this weeks trades are Williame and Kennedy out for Best and Ponga.

Feels weird trading out Friend for Grant, not sure why but needs must. Now just have to decide who goes for Best (out of Shiba, Kennedy or Williame) and whether I play him or Fui this week

Friend > Grant is a good trade. Friend isn't a season keeper IMO.

I DON'T have Shiba or Fui, but I have Kennedy and Williame.  I think Kennedy has more to offer in the future than Williame. Shiba might be a handy backup for now, as he will probably regain his spot if Best gets injured again. I'm doing Williame > Best, and I will probably play Best in my 17 (ahead of Drinkwater and the non-playing Kennedy).

The Best v Fui question is an interesting one. There are pros and cons for both. It would be a brave move to bench Best, based on his current form. While Fui is a starting 2RF this week, unfortunately, his minutes are in the hands of an unpredictable coach.

Yeah you're probably right there ST. I think most people with Best would be playing him so from that aspect too I'd probably be better off just playing him

I'd take the money this week I think. The only "problem" with trading in Best that I can see is that if he keeps hitting good numbers then he'll be a keeper and you won't see any of that money.

WILIAME to HTF (before HTF's price rises) & SAIFITI/KATOA to Cheapie (for cash)
Centers are now Yeo, STAGGS, MANN & HTF;

LEILUA to McINESS & SAIFITA/KATOA to D.FIFITA
2nd row is now McINNES, LOLO, FIFITA, CARRIGAN & SUA

You think D.Brown is a keeper in this format? 3 tries in 3 weeks is the main thing keeping him as top half scorer
Getting him next week you'll just about be buying him at peak price, and I will be willing to be he won't be a top 3 half come seasons end.

Also trading in HTF before his price rises? How much money to do you expect him to make, and are you going to have the trades to trade him out again anyway? Obviously if he duds it you can change your plans and avoid him

Having plans to get Tedesco, McInnes, Fifita in are all good and its just a matter of trying to get your timing/order right as to bringing them in efficiently

Personally, my original plans have been a bit derailed.

Cleary to Turpin didn't work out, as I had to spend another trade getting Turpin out again - trades that could have been spent getting in another 2RF or WFB gun instead.

Playing 17 is definitely not as strong as it could be,
Have to play Drinkwater this week, and if Taumalolo is out then need to use Mann/Lomax/Musgrove as well

Grant and Best in this week gives me a bankroll to start hitting guns next round, but have slipped down to 29th, and will probably slip again this week.

The Brown move is adjustable, I just need to get rid of Moses. Any suggestions on this would be welcome. Also have Drinkwater & Luai in the halves.
HTF is purely a cash out and to get rid of a shitty A/E. The other 3 can do a job there and if I need to I can bring Lomax up from F/B.
I will have 14 trades left after all this !!

I feel like if i pick Twal I'll be cutting myself short whereas tturbo could tear the Broncos to shreds.

Though Haas just seems too good to not captain...

I'd only consider the premium hookers over Haas for mixture of high floor high ceiling. If you want a gamble I'd rather go someone like Cleary or Matterson who still have that ceiling

Yeah I don't have those guys, in supercoach I started the year with Best so brought in Grant and McInnes so am thinking of captain Cam v2.0 there. Here though I have Hass/Lolo as premiums and Twal as just below that.

Given the dry weather I don't think turbo will have so many deductions from errors. Screw it, i'm in mediocreville anyway at the moment, I'll go tturbo.

Who would you trade out for Best out of Shiba, Mann, Kennedy, Lomax or Williame?

Halves is my weakest position currently with Moses and Drinky so I feel your pain. Want to get rid of both if possible but all things considered I may need to keep Moses for the long haul. In saying that, D Brown isn't on my radar, I see very little potential benefit for considerably more/similar risk to Moses. As for other options...upgrade or bust I think
