Had a miserable weekend in Fantasy and Supercoach but the silver lining was another win in the Eliminator in this one.
Pretty crazy shoot out. We had a few unique players but the clashes looked like this;
Me vs Her
Tevaga (69) vs Klem (72)
Bateman (52) vs JTurbo (53)
Mofo (60) vs Murray (59)
Lomax (66) vs Cook (65)
So despite the 8 different players, we more or less scored the same. In the end it was purely just my Matterson and Pappy that handily beat her Koro and Hunt.
The irony, if anyone was paying attention, was that I'd decided not to play Pappy this round. The only reason I did was because he was in her team so I thought it smarter to match her Pappy. Funnily enough, she traded him out. Brimson (who I was going to play) ended up scoring higher anyway.
Anyway, next week is going to be interesting. We both have quite a few uniques, and we both have Lolo, Mofo and Haas. Going to be an interesting duel.

Me: Lomax + SST + Koro + Talau + JFH
Them: Mitchell + Matto + DCE + Mann + Papalii
I will need to trade to have a chance, most likely Lolo + Talau out for either Cook/Matto + Mann. Will be interesting to see if he has trades as he also has Lolo and TTrbo and Haas as reds.

I think this is where I start really letting league 1 down. Two trades left and I have lolo and Koro and poor depth. Already down at third on the overall points too. Sorry guys

No need to apologise bro, all our seasons have diverged somewhat. I'm 13th overall but also 13th in L1; as a group we've just gone BANG this year.
Just hope for Koro back next week and fingers crossed you can ride out the rest of the season. Considering L1 is fairly far in front of NW's league, and both of us fairly far in front of 3rd I think we can get to the end of the season in 1st

Thinking Lolo to CS9 instead of a second rower. Thought about Twal, McGuire and Tevaga et al, but I feel like Melbourne's wheels have fallen off their season a bit thanks to all the injuries so Smith is going to lead from the front. I hope.
