Tau Moga pulled his hammy recently too. I’m considering him if he gets fit and looking good by trials

For @Chewie crossland is still a fair way down the pecking order and has had a disrupted preseason so I wouldn’t bother

Thanks for the brimson Isaako chat lads

I’m also scared of watching haas as a likely non owner. Hoping Taumalolo can act as a decent substitute to start the season

Thanks for the insight. Any thoughts on Starford Toa being a bolter to start the season?

So who do you guess will start at lock, Watson, or someone else?

They love star. Very tight but supposedly He’s still behind Lee and hunt if we are full strength but when tau or bradman are injured (both quite often) he’ll get games and do well

Glasby will start at lock most likely and then join the front row rotation while Watson is on. They want Watson’s energy with tired forwards to let him go nuts and work hard. Think our version of cam Murray of 2018

You would see Watson having a Tevaga style role, comes on after 20 mins and plays out the rest of the match? If so, I am really tempted, would be a serious POD

Im looking forward to seeing how Jacob goes this year. I'm hoping not at the start of the year but maybe a downgrade target after several rounds would be perfect.

Tough to say. I’d expect it would be later than the 20 minute mark. Murky because we have a fair few players capable of playing lock. I actually see Barnett as a lock long term due to his poorer lateral movement in defense but in this side he will play second row

I reckon he'll be incredibly lucky to get 30 mins

I also think Barnett will be lock with Glasby off the bench

Somewhere in between you pair. He’ll be a high PPM 40 minute player prior to injuries IMO but I don’t get anywhere near these chats

Injuries aside ofcourse. I think it'll be 20min hooker and 10mins roving somewhere.

Their bench they have some big minute forwards

Most of it is second hand so take it all with a pinch of salt lads! Should be helpful through the year though at least for ins and outs more than roles and minutes etc

Looking through the Knights squad they look short on backrowers (though they still have 3 spots available). I think theyll have to go Barnett and Fitz in the backrow and maybe Guerra starting at Lock. Glasby is so much better off the bench.

A few have mentioned the other week that the heat in first 4-5 games for Brisbane that it could affect Haas, tbh I actually think fatigued tired forwards will make Haas more lethal in the heat.

I’d be surprised if Guerra made the squad fully fit personally

I don't think it will make a difference. Nothing seems to affect him, he is a freak, an athlete and obviously genetically gifted. I think it's really really ballsy not to start with him. He's simply on another level.

I looked at Guerra. If he can find a starting spot, I'm tempted. He would be a workhorse at lock.

castlecrag sweethearts wrote:Anyone know why Taukeiaho's minutes dropped of toward the end of last year? also why is price is so high after a shocker end of the year?

He had a week or two off for an injury (I cant recall what it was) and he never seemed 100% fit after that.

I think his price is high because they’ve removed his HDA affected low game out? Seems there’s a few players where they’ve removed an injury outlier.

I think he’s going to avg low 50s and be a keeper, even without kicking, in which case he is priced about 100k under. But not sure I’m willing to take the risk.
