Hopefully both him and Aubbs gets the 2nd rower spots. I'll happily start with both in my centres and be done with it

Capewell played out the full 80 minutes at second-row on 16 occasions for the Sharks last season, a trait of his game he takes pride in.

He said that was a deciding factor in his decision to move to Penrith, with Ivan Cleary eager to use Capewell's versatility on the edge.

"Big in my decision to come to the club is Ivan sees me as a backrower," Capewell revealed.

"Which for me is really good, because I enjoy playing in the back row and playing 80 minutes.

"I'm more than happy to play other positions, whatever benefits the team, but knowing Ivan sees me as a back row gave me great confidence, so hopefully I'm nailing that down."
So he’s priced at 30, mate what’s his PPM? If he plays 80 every week even with his missed tackles he should still average about 38 points a game for mine, definitely one to consider for sure.

Would he get 80mins though, keeping in mind Kikau, Api and JFH will play big minutes?

Do we expect JFH to maybe drop to 55-60mins this season?

Capewell's 2nd row average over the past 2 years is 37.

His 2 low scores last year where 12 (because he missed 12 tackles) and 13 (he moved to centre after Xerri got injured)

I sort of assumed he was going to be a utility at Penrith, but if it looks like he might get an edge locked down then he is a great pick for sure.

Re Koroisau do we think he will get 60mins with someone like Kenny on the bench for the last 20mins?

Or do we think Koro gets 80mins?

Even playing 60mins Koro should be able to average around close to mid 40’s surely......

JFH might still get big mins RCG is gone so it'll be him and Tamou the main props

Will JFH stay at lock with Tetevano starting prop?

Tetevano was fairly underwhelming last year, but his 2018 stats were good if he is going to get decent minutes.

Well i sort of see it as Tamou and JFH starting and Kikua, Capewell and Yeo at Lock and Tetevano off the bench

    Its a sign!!

Ive had Talau in my centres, just as a place holder until someone else popped up - but also ~$190k in the bank to upgrade. I can get Capewell into my team with $5k to spare. Its meant to be right???

I read some panthers fan saying that tetevano has trained at "lock" due to his ball playing ability (wasnt aware he had any).. with JFH and tamou props.

Nfi what that means for minutes.

If tetevano is named at 13 he could be tempting but likely a trap

His other sub 30 score was after a dugan HIA as well.

He did have one other shocker in 65 mins vs Broncos when the broncos flogged them and SJ got injured early. It was basicallt just a disaster for the sharks that game

He is probably mr fix it at panthers too.. but maybe the panthers will carry a utility rather than hooker on bench.. cleary already hinted at that

if Yeo and Capewell are both in the 17, then either would be options for the "fix it" role.

My understanding is that the goal is Koro to play 80, but if his fitness isn't up to it (didn't play 80 at all last year, although he has in the past) there may be a bench hooker to ease him in to it.

I read some quotes from Mitch Kenny that suggest he may not be right for round 1 and he is happy to fight it out in reserve grade. Interestingly kenny said he was always a lock before last season and would be happy to play that role off the bench

    https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/teams/panthers/nrl-2020-penrith-panthers-mitch-kenny-api-koroisau-best-17-lineup-ivan-cleary-squad-team/news-story/0aaf08116de9a93f9dea018e523c463c

So even if kenny is named it may not impact Koro too much

John Bateman has undergone minor shoulder surgery to fix an ongoing issue, no set return date but will be reassessed closer to Rd1. Not much detail to go off regarding expected recovery; best case some minor shoulder “clean outs” can allow a return to play in as little as 3-4wks

Capewell gives me those Maubbs feels, he's just not as handsome... maybe we should call him black widow 2.0

Guys and girls, it is official. We have it. Hess has "trained the house down".

    https://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/nrl/teams/cowboys/nrl-2020-coen-hess-back-on-track-for-cowboys-after-tough-2019/news-story/f37dc541651b6b975499ecdb10da4ea5

Article doesn't give away anything fantasy wise. Peter Parr seems very excited about Hess this season though.
