Not really fantasy related. If it's okay to ask, how old is everyone here? Always curious about the demography of internet strangers I interact with.

    Hard to leave Fifita out.

Some interest points from Seibolds interview

Seibold confirmed that the highly-talented Paix was knocking at the door, and welcomed the depth he has at hooker, with Jake Turpin and the experienced Andrew McCullough in his side.

    Seibold wrote:

“It’s probably the first time Macca has been challenged with some competition,” Seibold added.

“Jake’s a genuine chance of playing No. 9, so that’s been a challenge for Macca and Cory Paix is a young kid coming through.

Seems like McCullough is not as out of it as most think

Seibold wrote: “I feel like he’ll be in our team’ Darius, he’s working really hard and I feel like he’s in our best 13.”

Boyd somewhere in the back 5 by the sounds of it

I know some people who have been predicting McCullough's demise for a while, and I won't believe it until I see it.

Haven't contemplated Turpin for a second yet this season

I remember the game he first played hooker how much more go forward we had. I am a massive fan of Macca and i know a lot of people call his delivery slow but after watching Turpins first game i realised how slow Macca was and how much go forward we had with Turpin. Will only be a matter of time before Turpin starts. Hopefully loses some cash first

    From nrl.com:

"Panthers recruit Kurt Capewell has picked up a quad strain and won't play in the club's first trial match against Wests Tigers on February 22.

It's hoped the back-rower will be fit to tackle the Eels in Bega the following week".

And for those worried about Kenny affecting Koro:

"Hooker Mitch Kenny is progressing with his elbow injury but won't be available until the early rounds of the season".

With Tyrone May stood down for five weeks, is there anyone else to spell Koro?

Siebold is just being kind to macca, who has been a great clubman for many years. Hes great with the young guys, Dearden and Coates live with him and his wife, he is known around the club as "dad"

Turpin will be the 9 in round 1, i guarantee it

Boyd will also be in the backline, never much doubt about that.

    This is a meaningless comparison

If Walters starts at hooker, then he will be an autopick in your team.

That doesn't necessarily mean you want Fifita, nor that you want to exclude Williams and Lowe.

If Walters doesn't make the Tigers 17, does that mean you won't consider Fifita?

Is anyone picking D Fifita if named on bench?

Agreed but I also have Taumalolo so if I go D. Fifita then I can't get J. Williams & Lowe. I had Williams & Lowe in my 2fr with Taumalolo but if I go with D. Fifita they both miss out.

First time I've posted my team this year but I think I'm pretty settled on this until I get any more info from the 9s/trials. I was keen on Curtis Scott at a discount before his incident but have settled for Burns and a cheapie for now pending TLT.

Probably not but then I think of Kikau a couple of seasons ago where he would come off the bench & score 50 points off 2 plays & end up on 50+ playing stuff all minutes.

Looking pretty good, quite similar to mine. I prefer Molo over Mikaele but am not convinced on either. Tell me about DWZ? What do you see happening there?

Pretty sure he was near base price when he did that though.

This is my go at a Taumalolo/D. Fifita team:
    Friend
    Haas (c), L. Knight
    Taumalolo, D. Fifita, Su'a
    Moses, Mann
    Lomax, Best
    Pappy, Isaako, rookie (Saab/To'a/Smith-Shields/Coates/Leleisiuao)

Koroisau, B. Brailey, B. Walters, Stimson
    Luai, Magoulia, rookie, rookie

For it to work I need a cheap rookie ctr/fb to start & B. Walters to be the Wests starting hooker
