Should definitely see more minutes this year. Exciting differential him!

Yeah fair enough. I've done a bit of reshuffling to get Cook in at hooker.

I'm looking for a 2RF for my bench at 541k or less, and I've looked at Brandon Smith. In games over 40 mins, he averages 44.2 (3 tries in 11 games over 40 mins in 2019). Do you think he can get over 40 mins? I think he can, especially if Grant does end up at the Tigers

I’m a bit dull on spend and positions like that. I’d sooner an Ethan Lowe for 100k less such as my guns/cows model. Best leave that one to the many fans of the 450-600k middies

    One extra game.

Assuming no restings or injuries and Ponga plays origin:

    Ponga 23 games
    RTS 24 games.

Best case scenario. He missed quite a few through Origin, albeit through injury, but even coming back in round 4 he scored 38.

Not saying he's a bad pick. I'm just picking RTS to score more overall on the basis CHT plays half and Ponga misses games through Origin. Splitting hairs though lol

Can someone explain what the Fan hub is? How are the players prices affected?

I don't think there is anything wrong with an RTS pick, its really a gut feel selection though (when comparing to others in similar prive range)

Can he up his try scoring in the Warriors side? 7 tries last year, only 3 in 2018. 10 in 2017.

He's such a great player, that he could have a 15 try season without the Warriors having to improve too much overall

Just having a look at some back rowers and check this out.

Carty Party, priced at 33, but his average when he plays 80 on an edge is 42.3 in 2019.

Is the Carty Party back on? Beer

Fanhub is the company that runs the NRL Fantasy platform

In previous years, player prices were determined entirely on the previous years performance.

Nowadays some players have been priced a little higher or lower than their stats would suggest (Blayke Brailey being the prime example) and the difference between their actual price and their stats-based price is called the fanhub bump/discount

Is Moses > Croft a fair enough trade off to allow me to have Turbo instead of Isaako?

I don't think so. Downgrading Moses to Croft is fine but I don't think Turbo is worth the risk at his price, you're better off using the cash elsewhere

Myself and Milchy have tried to start the Carty party a few times this preseason with no luck. I don't know if it's a safe option but will be one to consider TLT

After the last couple of years Turbo seems very injury prone & therefore risky. No doubting he's a gun though but I wouldn't pick him round 1.

I’ll throw another team into the mix. A few wait and see for sure. I feel like McInnes slots in to lock for a stint whilst Luke comes on. Could be wrong. If there’s word otherwise he could be swapped for Friend, and upgrading either a) centre or b) Croft for someone like Cleary

    McInnes
    Haas MoFo
    Stimson Tapine Su’A
    Moses Croft
    Lomax Watkins
    Papenhuyzen Cotric Brimson
    Mann Koro Grant Chee-Kam/Capewell
    Luai Sailor Curran Kolomatangi

Put Chee Kam/Capewell at centre instead of whichever option you prefer less and then you have one less centre to play

Yeah that’s what I’d do for sure. Probably swap Watkins to 18-21 and bring up Kolo or Curran (if either is named).

I havent changed anyone in my team for 3 days, feeling pretty settled for now.

Lots of changes to come the next few weeks as we see injuries and surprise selections leading to opportunities.
