Instead I'll give the advice that making any fantasy decisions from a preseason tournament in what is essentially a different sport is a terrible idea.

My team of the tournament aka must haves

    1. Scott Drinkwater
    2. Cody Ramsey
    3. Tex Hoy
    4. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow
    5. Mitchell Moses
    6. Tyrone Peachey
    7. Villiame Kikau
    8. Kurt Gidley
    9. David Gower

    Honorable mentions:
    Hess, Metcalf, Whitbread, Arrow, Cleary

Agree in not making season defining decisions (or dropping guns) but i did find it useful to get a look at some rookies, some bargains and also check fitness and confidence of players already like, or in the case of Brimson - didn’t really like (until seeing him)

Will Kennedy for example I wouldn’t have given a second look or noticed at WFB. I’ll be now watching trial sheets with interest, as he was good.

I think we can all agree,  the nines are completely transferable to the NRL premiership.  Cowboys  2020 premiers! cheer

He fumbled a ball over the boundary which you would have expected him to save, therefore, he's out of my team.

I went Friday, then left straight after the Tiger's game for TOOL.  They were fucking amazing so enjoy Monday mate Love

Friendly tip though, if you decide to break the "no phones during the concert rule" they have Security put a black cross on your arm and then if you do it again you are gone.  My mate thought it was a wonderful idea to try and film Rolling Laugh  In fairness though, it was well publicised so we were lucky we didn't get booted for the first offence.

Haas is definitely never going to be as good as he was in 2019, it's all behind him now.

I didn't watch the 9's but I have a low opinion of Crofts ability to lead. I think you will all find Munster and Smith were telling the boofhead what to do 99% of the time.

    How was his performance?

McInnes left the ground in a knee brace; brings some concern for a grade 2-3 MCL sprain which would have him very touch and go for Round 1 in 4 weeks time. General recovery guide for higher grade MCL sprains:
    Grade 2: 3-6 weeks
    Grade 3: 6-10 weeks

There’s a great line in the nrl.com dragons injury report. ‘Dufty, regarded as one of the smallest players in the game’ FFS either he is or he isn’t, it’s not subjective

    1. Referees blunders are still very much going to be changing the results of games (and sometimes entire tournaments) in 2020

    2. Thanks to a Sims broken arm, Host or Lawrie is about to get a blockbuster sequel: Host or Lawrie 2: Judgement Day

    3. Every member of the forum claims they had been quietly sitting on Drinkwater and is now upset that every other member of the forum who also has claimed to have always had Drinkwater is now going to bring in Drinkwater (btw guys, Drinkwater had been in my team since day dot...)

    4. Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow is a development player and cannot be in your fantasy team (just to stop the hundred people inevitably asking when their new $228k starting WFB that will leave them the cap space to buy Haas is)

    5. Haas didn't break a single tackle. And if he can't break a tackle in the Nines then he certainly won't in the 13-man game. And if he can't break tackles, he can't score well in Fantasy. Everyone should immediately take him out of your teams and never look back on the decision no matter what he does in the other trials.

    6. The Nines is an absolute Micky Mouse competition. The Rabbitoh's only accolade was beating the very worst team in the Nines comp and yet made the finals whilst the Sharks, Sea Eagles and Tigers missed out despite being far better teams; Dragon's women win 1/3 games, make the GF because somehow the others did even worse, but get up against the Broncos chasing their 4th straight win.

There was some not very quietly sitting on him though. I wonder if anyone took Rabbit up on the odds he was offering.

I concede he could be ‘in or around’ the smallest players in the game

Whether loud or quiet about it, nobody had mentioned hide nor hair of him before this tournament. Suddenly he was everyone’s secret pick. We are all geniuses here,  no doubt about it

Agreed, he’s been nowhere near my team because it looked like he was destined to be bench bound. Looked good but still going to wait for TLT before considering, probably the most relevant info to come out of the nines are injury lists ( and the potential for a host vs Lawrie revival)

Not having Grant has forced my to tone down the gun backs a bit and put a bit more into 2RF, especially as I assumed Su'A would be playing big minutes. I hope I am not the one who makes going for value a stupid decision Question Still going Smith/Friend (C, VC) Koroisau made his way back in. He does have quite a lot of value with no other recognised HOK in the team really. Hard to knock him back

Sweet and sour news for @NRL_Dragons. Ramsey is a future star with most tries and named in team of the tournament yet McInnes (knee), Sims (arm) and Dufty (cheekbone) all in doubt for round one. @telegraph_sport

Mind you Ramsey will actually have to score in the try zone every time. Won’t be gifted every week
