Who is replacing Haas in your FRF if you get rid of him?

This last weekend has taught me that you can’t make changes based on 9s if you don’t actually watch the 9s **insert guy tapping head meme**

I’m not reading anything into his nines form. I’m actually surprised he played in it. I think he just wanted a hit out. In the one game I saw him play he did bust a couple of tackles, but was only playing at half his normal speed. Having said that, 2nd year syndrome is real. Teams study opposition standouts closely over the off season, looking for ways to shut them down. With Haas, I’m not too sure there is much any team can do without weakening their defence elsewhere. He’s exceptional.

See i just swapped him for Tolo to see how it looks. Just makes the Front row even harder. I like Knight, then chucked Merrin in but not sold. Even with Tolo in there it doesn't look as good. I guess it will all come down to TLT and the combinations you can make based on that.

I haven't thought that far ahead, but it seems as though some options have opened up (IF Merrin plays a big role at lock.. IF Knight does similar at lock.. wait and see's for now).

If Friend becomes seemingly unsuitable, then I will consider it more seriously. McInnes is the one I'd want though, but his injury could be a concern.

Maybe they'll try to tire him out by running at him constantly in defence... which will just mean even more fantasy points.

I know, he's a freak. I did see those busts you speak of but the team on a whole were shit so it's hard to read too much into it. I too am surprised he played actually. I did notice even in those games teams did get numbers in on him and kept him contained very well, but I guess he wasn't even in second gear. Probably was told to get it quiet just as you say get him out there and give him a run. I'm sure when he turns up the gears he can get back into it. I too fear second year syndrome, but this guy seems different.

You still have the wonderful opportunity to take up the 3-1 offer of Souths not making the 8. I think you should take it up. The odds are fabulous.

What ?? Someone took one and not the other ?? That was the cream in this bet. You take both. Rabbits make the 8 but not the 4 they cancel each other out. Rabbits make the 4 you lose, rabbits dont make the 8 you win. Rabbits aren't making the 4. It's a no brainer.

He was making 4 tackles a set last year and wasn't even sweating, it doesn't affect him.

Ok, I’ll post my team. The Nuffies will change on TLT. Weak bench.

    McInness
    Haas, Knight
    Lolo, Williams, Fifita
    Reyno, Luai
    Watkins, Lomax
    Pap, Hughes, Drinkwater

Amone, Mann, Magoulis, Walters, Grant, Musgrove, McIntyre, To’a.

He took both as it turns out. So I’ll be collecting $100 come August.

Nothing I saw from Haas would concern me as an owner. Still looked super light on his feet and like the fittest player on the field. If you believed in his ability to repeat(or improve) his performance before the 9s, nothing should have changed

Risky bench there Rabbit unless TLT is kind to you. I love the Reyno pick. Had him in one draft and he looked good.

I'm actually not too opposed to running Luai at second half. I think he'll score the same as Mann.

Yup. The Broncos looked uninspired and unorganised, but if anything, that'll just mean a repeat of last season where Haas would take two runs per set because nothing else was ever on.

Yo Haas is fitter in 2020

“I am actually lighter than what I played at last year,” Haas said.

“I was 120kg last year but I’m down to 117-118kg so I am keen to stay around there this season.

“It wasn’t really a goal to lose weight but with the training in pre-season, it’s made me drop a few kilos.

“I’m actually enjoying being a bit lighter, I’m getting around the field easier.”

I pulled that Haas quote from a Renegades post and it looks like the famous Rabbit is the first comment

Ron Hall "Broken leg game 1. You’ve wasted a trade and cost yourself 50 points. Seriously though, no cunt is worth $1 million out of your salary cap. Especially not a prop with 2nd year syndrome. Not having him is a POD."
