I think with non-base player priced picks in supercoach and VSDT we should allow a couple weeks for those like Guler and Fleger to see how they back up the second week.

Agree with that. Drinkwater definitely high on my trade in list for next week

Yeah I recommended Katoa to a friend and a family member, mentioned Guler as a wait and see and didn't mention Flegler since he's even pricier at 295k and the 52 is just not bad.

If Tetevano wasn't such a dud pick, I might wait and see on Guler myself, but getting 90k back and having a score of 94 instead of 12 under the belt feels like a good proposition.

@Hannah2 - I was interested in something you wrote in the 'other place' recently about swapping out your VC depending on more or less than 100 points. How do you do this? I too have 'Lolo as VC with Haas as (C) .... can you still do some jiggery-pokery and make 'Lolo the (C)?

The loophole still works in SC, but I'm not sure Lolo has enough points to make it worthwhile.
What you need to do is move one of your players off the field, and replace him with someone who will not play.
Make that non-playing person your captain.
You will then get double Lolo, but you will also sacrifice the score of the player you move off.
You'll get the auto emergency, instead.

I don't have any red dots, and too many players scored in the 20s for me last week that I wouldn't have risked it.

Not a bad couple of games for me tonight. Annoyed that I subbed Lomax out, but hopefully the spuds I have in can crack 50s. Making cash though along with Wiliame and Fui.

Cleary, Yeo, Flegler, Carrigan and Haas all looking good. Not bad from Dave Fifita, Murray I overpaid for by the looks of it, but hopefully starts finding the try line again soon.

Maybe should've played Katoa over Knight, but 44 points on the board, can't really complain.

..and in hindsight, I should've gotten Koroisau.. if not for Walters, then Luai.. one of them has to go next week.

Captain Haas wasn't too wise, but more disappointment to come, I imagine, lol

Was a slow start, around 20 something at HT, relieved that he hit 73 in the end.

Not many players will average close to that for the season, so I'm happy to take that every week. Rd 2 last year I captained Taumalolo for his injured sub 20

Then Fifita and Bateman for their injured crap scores

Most people built their teams around two captain options and most will be hass and lolo. Not always going to pick the right one

Was considering playing Katoa or even Guler over him, but was expecting a few tries on offer for Raiders.. he was dire until the very death though.

Bit of a crash today after a pretty decent start to the round.

GWilliams 31, Kennedy 36 and SJ 27.

Should've played Katoa and Lomax, but win some/lose some.

Paps 56 not bad at least. Was hoping to match Teddy and Tom's 70 from the previous game, but both rounds combined he's delivering at a cheaper price. Ponga might do some damage tomorrow though.

I avoided Jack somehow despite some Sharks biases. Ended up with Knight instead for more $ and not much better.

Have to figure out who to drop to fit Koroisau in - Luai, Brailey, GWill and Walters the potential candidates.

Saw the writing on the wall and ducked out for supplies at HT.

Thommo going well, getting balanced out by Watkins being shit now though. Solid enough from Walters.

Trading Garner for Yeo was a good move, but starting with Garner over Luciano was a dumb one.

Might have to grab Koro and Luc next week.

1207 this week. Only used the 1 trade. Got 150k in the kitty. Might have it there awhile if the season goes guts up like I suspect before next weekend.

1156 and a loss off 444 in rank. Now 2.2k.

Jwill > Flegler locked in. Flegler with a BE of -34. Jumping on the money train. May look at getting Staggs in as well.
