I have him in my side, even at 40 mins his career average is 43.9, and he's priced at 35. He's an absolute gun and I think he will at least keep the 47 mins average that he had at the end of last season, he was even playing 50+ mins at the very end.

I rate him better than Jack Williams and he covers hooker which is a nice bonus

Last I read Hipgrave was seeing a neurologist sometime in Feb to get clearance for contact training. Assuming he’s cleared, I don’t think he’s starting first grade that underdone.

Yeah, he's got great PPM and deserves more mins. If it were up to me, I'd have him playing 60, just bring him on at lock after 20 mins and have him play out the game, with Finucane moving into the prop rotation.

That average isn't at 40 mins it's games over 40 mins where the average mins is 47

I made the same mistake in my early analysis with Leilua

At what position did he get those minutes last season?

I see funacane also played big minutes and he started at lock.

Great player but a lot has to go his way to start the season averaging 45 IMO. There are probably better options in the midrange

What makes people say Britt starts over Stimson when Stimson goal kicks?

Smith is good as a lock but he'd be amazing as a hooker. Be a real shame and waste of his skillset if he's long-term remodelled as a bash merchant and spends his career behind Smith then Grant just because he can also play back row.

Warriors should have thrown ALL the money at him to play hooker there.
