Suits me, I'd rather have Burton over Luai, he's got a massive boot on him by the looks.

I don't think it matters to fantasy coaches which rookie priced half they get. Main concern with Burton would be impact on Cleary as he looks a much better kicker

It’s not much of a reset, you’d just swap him out for Burton and save 3k

If you read beyond the quote he says Tyrone May would come in as soon as available after Rd 4

I Cleary has been pretty clear he sees May as a bench utility (hooker cover). So I read it as May comes in for Luai at 14. Nothing changes.

I guess you could be worried Burton impacts Clearys scores but I don’t think so.

    It's only Geyer's opinion but....

I'd argue along with David Fifita starting on the edge they are the 3 best value picks. Where else can you get 15+ points on upside AND keeper level scores

I think Luciano Leilua as well (he may fall a bit short of keeper level, but the potential is there)

I guess if I had to drop one of those guys, it would probably be Friend, but I'm planning on starting with them all

Yep, Friend, Koro, DFifita, and Leilua are all in the team Basketball

In any case, I have Luai just outside my 17 atm

Speaking of which, quicksand grabbed the wrong Williams in our Draft yesterday. He is now the proud owner of a George and a Sam.

Does that mean they're going to sign a useless player from the Broncos halfway through the season?

There are also 2 Jack Williams at Cronulla. 1 is a half who you don't want in your fantasy team.

The problem if you start with multiple of Horsburgh, Burton, Aekins, Keppie, Grant (other gutys acting as short term replacements) is that come round 5 you might suddenly have 4 players you need to trade out

Have to be careful about how many players you pick without a guaranteed first grade spot

    Who wins. Thoughts & thanks:

    (a) Taumalolo, Su'a, Moses, Shibasaki or
    (b) CHN, Horsburgh, Cleary, Aubusson

    Cheers.

Prefer B but I'm going with Lolo over Haas. Assume you have Haas.

What's story with dogs halves? Many on forum want Wakeham starting but I thought Lewis+Cogger fairly likely.

A consistent commentary I saw on Dogs forum was Stimson looks like he needs a 2nd pre season. Someone described him as looking like he'd been out the night before and had the beer sweats. Never been in my team till I see him in TLT 13

I've been reading their forum. They also like Sione Katoa, which says a lot

They were basing it off one trial in PNG, pretty sure the fans won't be having the final say
