It’s been 12hrs and I’ve already forgot what league I’ve been put in. I’m loosing sleep over the important issues, like how hard is tapine gunna fuck me this year, like has the last two years, and why do I keep picking him

L51 is so 2019...
Actually all league rankings are 2019...
2020 is Survivor
It is Black Widow vs Minto

Only a consideration if you don’t have Haas or Lolo. Even then you’d have to consider his firm and opposition.easytiger wrote:

Just ensure you have cover (through a DPP like Lomax or Drinkwater), otherwise at sub 250, a player in good form... why not
I'm almost ready to take the punt hey. Will wait and see what more we hear on Moylan, but his injuries could really drag out.
I like Kennedy far more than Aekins. Really want a base price ctr/wfb to turn up
EDIT just saw that Hooper is reporting Moylan now out the first month. Best case back round 3 and worse case round 5. I'd bet its the latter with Moylan..

Tough to pick Kennedy for mine. Not really a big metres eater, isn't an electric ball runner and doesn't get super involved in attack. Still you would back the chance of a base fullback over a base winger in most cases

Despite declaring my love for him for months on end, I'd gone a bit cold on him since the weekend, and I think this article confirms that a little. Green suggests he will use him in the middle in season proper, and I don't want him if that's the case.
For me, Hess requirements (after seeing his fitness):
1) 65+ mins on edge, running at halves all game.
2) see 1
To be honest, there is probably still some value there, but it is a bit murky on what to expect.

Maybe he's one of those players you have a hard time separating on field ability/potential with fantasy so you wind up with selection bias confirming the idea he's good and its just been unlucky to date? I know I've got about 10 of those players.... though Tapine isn't one. He's a great player and I'm happy to have him in the green, just not the fantasy player i want.Fortitude wrote:It’s been 12hrs and I’ve already forgot what league I’ve been put in. To play devil's advocate, let's assume he gets your desired 65 mins on the park, isn't some time in the middle ok though? He'd get more tackles and run opportunities being in the middle, wouldn't he? If anything I think his scores go up with being given some time at Lock. It's potentially only covering the short rest Taumalolo gets each game, then back out to the edge. If anyone can play 65mins on an edge + 15mins in the middle it's an ultra fit 23 year old, border-line gun (2018) with a chip on his shoulder. He's in my team for sure.

Moylan isnt the biggest threat to Kennedy its Xerri. Once he is back he and Ramien will be centres and Morris will go to fullback

Cowboys forum saying they still want him coming off bench running at tired halves

I read this morning that Moylan has re-injured himself & they said he could miss the first 4 rounds. So Kennedy could benefit from that (I like him too) but there's also the Xerri factor. I read if Xerri is fit then J. Morris will play f/b but apparently Xerri is struggling to be fit for round 1 so it's hard to gauge exactly how many games Kennedy will play.

I thought it was Morris that was going to the Roosters - did I read that correctly somewhere?

Roosters want JMorris, and Morris wants to go to the roosters.
Sharks don't want to release him, especially with injuries to all their other outside backs

Don't believe a word of it. We played to the rules, we were ahead of our time, we were the Melbourne Storm of 69.
Cue Brian Adams.

I reckon J Morris to Roosters will still happen.. thats just a gut feel though..
Kind of shows how serious Robbo is about Crichton at centre
