Also who else is in League 10 with me? Should be good still cheer

Depends on how many starters we have (everyone in the FOG). We use the FOG rankings at the end of about round 17 to create an eliminator, then it's a matter of scoring more than your opponent each week to proceed. It's run on a seperate site. Check it out: https://challonge.com/l5d234tw

    @ Rabbits21

I wouldn't stress so much re what league you're in even though I appreciate & understand your disappointment. The important league is the overall league because that determines what league you end up next year. The individual leagues are just for banter & blow-assing if you win it.

Also you asked what my back 3 were last night. I currently have Papenhuyzen, J. Hughes & the 3rd spot I don't know. I'm hoping S. Crichton gets the nod at f/b from I. Cleary but it seems Aekins will start.

Tough to pick Kennedy for mine. Not really a big metres eater, isn't an electric ball runner and doesn't get super involved in attack. Still you would back the chance of a base fullback over a base winger in most cases

What would you base the Kennedy decision on regarding on not being electric? His 2 games last year? (One being great while one being a shocker)
Canterbury cup fullback of the year and a big reason the Jets won the comp, decent off season where he has bulked up a little more and a decent 9's/Trials

Also he either starts or won't play so he won't bleed cash on the bench.
Slightly biased but he passes the eye test and 3-4 weeks is worth the gamble .

Has anyone got a screenshot of the overall standings for the overall league from last year?

Watching him play he seems closer to a Jordan Kahu tier fullback than the other fantasy relevant options

    Kahu! Ouch.

Thought he’s looked quite dangerous myself and think he will break more tackles in his 3-4 games
minimum than Kahu will this calendar year Smile)

Do you mean Broncos pre injury Kahu? The main thing for fantasy is that he has a decent step which is great for tackle breaks when chiming in from Fullback.
Anyways this is probably the only real footage of him so make of it as you will. He has had a full off season of training with the main team too and incentive to make the position his own

Fanatics was ridiculously strong last year, nationally speaking.

Let’s get this base template right and go again fellas!

Big Marty is the man back in my reckoning in terms of players not in any draft previous to the weekend trials .

His average in years gone by when getting 60-80mins was just incredible, and I think their hand is forced this year.

I know we’ve been caught before, but no Jurbo no AFB, no Paseka... these minutes aren’t going the way of Keppie, Waddell and Sipley. Sorry not having it.

    L1 select, L1, L1 and now… L6. I am definitely a fan of promotion/relegation over this embarrassment. and yes, I'm also a bunnies fan.

Would you move him on for another gun when the cavalry returns or hold past R12/for full season when #taupauminutewatch starts trending again

My problem with Kennedy is I am just short of making use of the cash from Aekins to Kennedy bar using for slightly buffing EMG meaning I would have another rookie in my 17 (with Walters) for no extra benefit to rest of team bar cash ITB and then basically be forcing myself into a trade by R4-5

Haven’t thought that far ahead but likely a first 5-6 week boom out of the blocks type pick.

I know there’s a fallacy “golden rule” of never dropping a gun but I see him helping me buy a 900k guy I currently can’t afford - ie Smith, Cook, Tlolo, Murray or someone going so large can’t resist any more (Matterson, Arrow)

All that said even with Jurbo back he will admittedly be bloody hard to drop if belting out the 60-65 avg I expect him to be close to

Last season taupau owners expected similar from him when they weren’t available. Many times Waddell was the beneficiary, with Taupau not adding any minutes. Apparently des sees Marty as having a specific role to play in a certain number of minutes and it doesn’t change regardless of the situation.

7 hookers captained by one sweet big Haas

Be needing to Drinkwater after spending time with such a Friend alright.

Hope with an extra Levi, one of them can stick around and Cook.

Promotion/relegation verses yearly seeding was a hotly debated topic between the Leagues creators a couple of year's ago. Seeding won out but not by much. There's good and bad in each model but look at this way mate, you could be back to L1 as early next year Very Happy
