Last season taupau owners expected similar from him when they weren’t available. Many times Waddell was the beneficiary, with Taupau not adding any minutes. Apparently des sees Marty as having a specific role to play in a certain number of minutes and it doesn’t change regardless of the situation.

I boarded the train too and got off it quick smart. Was painful.

I know it’s only a trial but I saw a significant difference at the weekend.

He played him the whole first half in the heat and he didn’t look explosive but I actually took it as a positive... because he has the size to get TBs and offloads for free, so it’s just all about minutes

I may get cold feet come TLT but for now I’m more confident in him than for example Murray, of whom I just have no idea what Bennett is playing at.

Be needing to Drinkwater after spending time with such a Friend alright.

Hope with an extra Levi, one of them can stick around and Cook.

If I am unable to Cook anymore due to Burns, will probably wait until Knight to get his DPP first then decide after that

    Hi all,

Does anyone know if you can still manually select the draft order in the NRL Draft version?
It's been possible the last couple of years, but my league commissioner is claiming it's not possible this year.
Appreciate any league commissioner's on here giving their thoughts.
    Thanks!

I was just trying to be funny. But a serious thought, why not have both? Particularly if they bring back ranked leagues.

If J. Morris (ctr/wfb 492k priced at 34 points) is named at f/b round 1 will he tempt anyone & then when he goes to the Roosters to play ctr you have a player in the best team.

Haha, I know mate, the indignity of it all! We never discussed trying to combine both. Is it doable?

They would probably need to be separate leagues. A massive undertaking and a huge pain in the arse. What the game needs is to keep our actual game history. But… #A+

    THE MOLE NEWS: NOT RELIABLE....

--> Storm apparently have their eye on a player rated among the best young centres in England for 2021.

    Jake Wardle - Huddersfield.

--> Apparently R.To'omaga is in line for a R1 start up front for the Doggies.

--> Roosters in box seat to fix Savea under their salary cap sombrero

First time poster here fellas, been reading a while and appreciated all the great discussions!

Having trouble deciding on whether to go Croft at half or Levi on my bench (Walters changing from bench to starting half depending on my choice).

Can anyone convince me either way?

    Levi > Croft

Either way Walters is in your scoring 17 (assumption)

I reckon Croft has better value. Croft should get good kick metres and he’s gonna be more involved in the Broncos attack. It’s risky but I’m warming to taking the punt as I’m not confident in Walters at starting half.

Manly are missing forwards to start the season and I don’t think Levi will run the ball much.

Also in the 33mins he played to me it looked like Levi missed 3-4 tackles so if he plays 70-80mins he may miss 7 or 8 tackles.

I think this season I’m not as confident in the 246k players so am looking at a more mid range side approach.

I wouldn't worry, I haven't either. Filthridden is league organiser for L2, he must be away.

    Rudolf
    Musgrove
    JTB
    To'omaga
    Fotuaika
    Molo
    Kerr
    Keppie

expect: Taupau to have a blinder, Twal to take it up a notch, and Ese'ese to get back to his best.
