Still dunno if he gets those 80mins with Peachey likely to be on the bench.Milchcow wrote:

Is J Luai worth a bench spot ??? Or am I way off the mark only other options at the moment would be a bench forward ie Musgrove, Amone etc

Carty has started every competitive game the Titans have played this year
More seriously, most things we post here are just educated guessing, but at the moment it looks like he and Proctor will be starting 2nd rowers this year
In general there is no reason to believe starting 2nd rowers will consistently play low minutes

It says there's no set return date but range is 2-4 months. There's no clear info on nrl casualty ward as it says indefinite return but original post from NRL physio has usual range of around 12-14 weeks which puts it at around R11-ish
Thanks man!

When Best is back could be round 3 or 4 I thought I heard you’d think most likely would be for Shiba who makes way.
Best prefers left side and O’brien had him tipped for that. I’d say his competition is moga and tuala
I know that doesn’t really answer the question but I’d say if he plays well it’s his spot to lose as the other options aren’t amazing

Anyone starting to think all this time and effort might come to stuff all cause of the virus. Events getting cancelled all round the world, some of them with massive money involved (see SXSW in Austin). I got a bad feeling fantasy is gonna be impacted heavily....

I'm surprised to find that Holland has never played interchange, must have always moved from center to play back up hooker before.
JMK and Wakeham definitely of interest. Wakeham > Mann for sure, a nice cheap, playable option.

NBA sent a memo today to teams saying be prepared to play with no crowds and only essential staff present.
All Italian sports are now behind closed doors.

In many sports the games are going ahead, they are just playing without the live crowds watching. Would be a hit for the clubs for revenue, but could likely keep the comp going.Rippin and Tearin wrote:Anyone starting to think all this time and effort might come to stuff all cause of the virus. Anyone know what Wakeham averaged in CC last season?
Also who will he be with in the halves?
If it’s Lewis I can’t see Wakeham getting many kick metres at all.

Back to my JMK draft I goCamo123 wrote:DT article about Bulldogs reporting Wakeham will start at 5/8, Holland back-up HOK with JMK fit to start, Stimson and Katoa unlikely to make side, Meaney fit to play (no Averillo), Dean Britt making debut
Interest definitely renewed in JMK again, especially with no Katoa. Wakeham could be alternative to Mann but had high MT count in 2 games played
Actual article is paywalled, but here is excerpt from Reddit:
Brandon Wakeham will start in the halves for Canterbury in their season opener against Parramatta
Other surprising team selections include;
Outside back Kerrod Holland to be back-up hooker off the interchange bench.
New recruits Joe Stimson and Sione Katoa battling to make the round one side.
Dean Britt to follow in his dad Darren’s footsteps in making his Bulldogs debut.
Nick Meaney and Jeremy Marshall-King winning the battle to be passed fit to play.

Played a lot of interchange in 2018, it's the reason why he lured everyone in as a pick in 2019

Yes it will be Lewis. Last season in his 2 full games at 5/8 he only averaged 118 km but scored 39 and 40 (including a try in 1 game and a try assist in the other). Big tackle counts in both games but also lots of missed tackles 5 in one game, 6 in the other. Could be frustrating to watch in your team!Rabbits21 wrote:Anyone know what Wakeham averaged in CC last season?

Surely not. Wakeham only 10k cheaper, in a much worse team, with a sample size of two games in the halves, where he averages almost 6 missed tackles per game. Job security for him just as much an issue as Mann IMO. I’m not saying Mann is a worldbeater, but he would be my pick over Wakeham any day.mattnz wrote:I'm surprised to find that Holland has never played interchange, must have always moved from center to play back up hooker before.

@ MTB the filters on the site are broken again. When you have selected over x minutes for one player, then change players it takes the filters across but doesnt show them as activeCamo123 wrote:

Just did that really quick without dragging out positional actual averages.
Not intended to exclude guns and the best in each position. MEGA GUNs maybe (ie outliers and anomalies). More an overall positional potential.
Moral to the story is that I think a Jack Williams is a much better pick than Jess Ramien

The purchase of Stimson makes no sense
