I've had way too much time to stress about fantasy recently and now I'm torn between running Moses/Reynolds as my hlf pairing or Moses/Mann. On the one hand picking Mann gives me 400k to work with elsewhere, but he could also get dropped at some point before round 12 which would probably cost me 2 trades (Mann out, rd12 half in who then gets traded before 16) On the other hand Reyno should pump out 50s every week like he always does but again I would probably be sacrificing elsewhere to make it happen - thoughts?

Assuming you were talking about Burns, Aubbo and Ramien there is a bunch of players I would rather drop cash on in that range
Slightly more cash I would prefer JMK, Levi and LLeilua
Slight less I would prefer Koroisau, Ash Taylor, Tapine, Cartwright, JWilliams, Hess, Brimson, Waddell, Cotric, Carrigan, Su'a, Drinkwater, BBrailey
I'm not sure why you are forcing yourself to pick an extra player from the worst position in fantasy

I'm not forcing myself to do anything. It's actually amusing that kinda phrasing is used when I'm the one having an open mind about the picks rather than ruling out a player because of their position.
It's not ramien, I'm considering Scott with the other two you mentioned and I'm doing so simply because I think he's going to score better than hess, sua, Tapine and Cotric in the first 5-10 weeks and he's priced around the same point.
Yes, the top scoring players are more than likely not going to come from center and yes if you go cheap there you often end up with really low scores, but that doesn't mean there can't be value there to be had. If I'm considering a bench spot between hess and Scott, personally I think Scott scores better, regardless of playing at ctr. In fact, do you want to put an avatar bet on who of those two is the highest scorer after 7 weeks?

Regarding the kicks defusal part in the video the NRL posted, there is no way they always pay those and I've always wondered why.

Renegades and Rogues are the most popular 2. Renegades probably has the more serious discussion, Rogues is mostly just shit-talking.
There's also a tonne of Supercoach groups, where a lot of the discussion applies just as equally to fantasy
There is also Butters Fantasy Lounge - it requires a donation to a charity to join. I'm not a member so can't tell you if its any good or not.
This site cleaned up in the rankings compared to any other public group last year though. Stick with us.

Any interest in DWZ? Priced at 28 and avg 33 across 9 games at Fullback for the dogs last season. Could be an option for those not keen on Aekins and plays r12

DT article about Bulldogs reporting Wakeham will start at 5/8, Holland back-up HOK with JMK fit to start, Stimson and Katoa unlikely to make side, Meaney fit to play (no Averillo), Dean Britt making debut
Interest definitely renewed in JMK again, especially with no Katoa. Wakeham could be alternative to Mann but had high MT count in 2 games played
Actual article is paywalled, but here is excerpt from Reddit:
Brandon Wakeham will start in the halves for Canterbury in their season opener against Parramatta
Other surprising team selections include;
Outside back Kerrod Holland to be back-up hooker off the interchange bench.
New recruits Joe Stimson and Sione Katoa battling to make the round one side.
Dean Britt to follow in his dad Darren’s footsteps in making his Bulldogs debut.
Nick Meaney and Jeremy Marshall-King winning the battle to be passed fit to play.

I really don't like dwz in the slightest but he looked amazing in the all stars game until injury if he continues to play like he started that game this season he will shock everyone

What was the overall verdict on JMK? Round 12 playing Hooker who will build to 70-80 minutes but probably only 5 or so underpriced?

Sounds about right. Career average 41 as a starting hooker, 43.5 last year and seems like he should get some pretty consistent minutes.
If I had some spare cash I would upgrade Mann to him JMK in a heartbeat

DWZ is one of these guys that are awesome real footballers, but doesn’t translate well in fantasy!eyipftwari wrote:

I’m also interested in JMK for sure.Camo123 wrote:DT article about Bulldogs reporting Wakeham will start at 5/8, Holland back-up HOK with JMK fit to start, Stimson and Katoa unlikely to make side, Meaney fit to play (no Averillo), Dean Britt making debut

I don't see how JMK with Holland on the bench is suddenly much more appealing than JMK with Katoa on the bench.
I was considering him at half as long as he was fit to start either way

Just looked. 44ish for over 60 minutes. 48 for over 70. So 45 sounds safe. Not a bad pick but seems to be on the outer on here. Underdone with the shoulder injury meaning he may be a wait and see perhaps? My experience with shoulder recos is that the process is long but when cleared to play they are good to go. Shame he didn’t get a trial in though

I'm considering running without Cleary have JMK at half with Mann and Walters
Would probably let me run Haas and Taumalolo

He's priced at 33 and averaged 42 as starting 2nd row last year

When looking at Watkins and Shiba, surely Watkins has better job security.
When Best is back could be round 3 or 4 I thought I heard you’d think most likely would be for Shiba who makes way.
