Thinking just starting with Walters and swap them when grant arrives.

Downside of this is Walters scores you 20, you waste a trade swapping to Grant and you have to live with your Winger who netted a massive 9 points against the worst defence in the league, while you trade out your other bomb.

I've rated him basically all preseason as you likely can expect much less downward variation in scores given he has much more reliable base of tackles at HOK playable at HLF in comparison to other mid-range HLFs (Croft, Flanagan) possibly having base of KM being split with other players

Probably not going to have super high ceiling and may not consistently outperform price by 10+ points but has super reliable floor

Tempted to start with Grant in my NPR. Wild punt but could pay off.

Would you be doing this while still starting with Walters?

I personally think this is a bad idea; however, I do see the positives and negatives. I would rather take a gamble on 4 cows and hope 2-3 out of the 4 go gangbusters in R1 and whatever cows doesn't fire you can trade to Grant come R2 once the swap is concrete.

I have been considering running a halves combo of JMK+Mann/Walters for a bit and assuming he is good to go then it looks to be on
Bang for buck they seem alright and you would think a floor of minimum 80pts is very achievable

Combined average of 95 if you use Mann's small range of 5 games with tries..
Worst case this isn't bad for just over a 60pt investment

I feel super out of touch with who are the flavours of the week. In need of TLT so I can finalise my team.

Seems like JMK has massively jumped into a lot of peoples considerations.

Who are any other current flavours and why?

I was hoping Meaney would return Rd 2 and it would catch a few people.
