I’m a bit torn on my hooker-heavy run. I like JMK’s possible 50, but Leilua was always going to be one of my first picked. Have lots of other hookers, 2RF is Tolo, DFifi, Williams, Stimson.

L Leilua? if so, thats who I've got in my team with JMK my 22nd man.

I had to ditch JMK&Brailet after TLT so I could get in Sua and Stimson.

I think there is a risk he starts a little slow and builds up (same as Brailey) where as those starting 2RF will tend to play 80min.

I was happy with Musgrove before, but as I think MTB pointed out, how does his minutes get affected now with him likely being 2nd interchange with Mikaele on bench as opposed to potential he could have been 1st interchange if Mikaele was starting

Come to think of it he might have been 2nd interchange off bench anyway if Aloiai was on bench

Listening to NRL podcast they said Wakeham better than Mann for less missed tackles. Did they see Wakeham 16 missed tackles in 215 mins last season?

Is there an actual source on this Brailey 50 mins idea?

Last year Brailey never hit 30 on the bench unless there was injury, and that was with them knowing he was the future #9 for the club

Treacy is a half who is not the future hooker for the club but all set for 30. It just smells like 0-20 mins to me, like Croker at Manly.

So is the concensus that Stimson is a better option than Brailey on the bench? Trying to decide between the 2.

Dude, if CHN was using offical work business to hook up with school kids, hes well and truley screwed. I dont see him back with the Dogs at all this year.

More reliable - probably given the situation with the chooks 2RFs and imminent arrival of Morris. However if starting 2RF he is a much safer value proposition.

FWIW I have Maubs in my team as I did to start the year when I had my best fantasy overall result as well (hoping its an omen - the black widon is actually my angel!)

School girls is the headline for CHN and okunbor. They won't be playing NRL for at least half the season.

If the girls clothes came off, that's a trip to England.

Stimson was a no brainer for me in pre-season, but after trials/etc I'm not sure. He could be back on the bench in round 2, if Britt has a big game. Then there is CHN... I don't trust Pay to run out the same line up consistently.

I'm hoping Musgrove works his way into the starting spot over the first four weeks.

Where the hell did Elijah Taylor come from? He was barely a best 17 player for the last year or two, and there was reports he was unwanted by Madge. Now he's starting lock? He was always considered an extremely hard trainer, even in his warriors days, so what changed this pre-season?

Thoughts on which combo is best?

A: Ponga + Hampton EMG (with JTB in the 17 ahead of him, Hampton only as WFB/CTR cover)

B: Friend + Lomax (Pushing JTB out of the 17)

Yeo looked great at lock. Assuming JFH joins the prop rotation. Can see Yeo and Friend scoring very similarly.

I dunno. Its a tough one really because the headlines are extremely damaging for the club, but its not illegal. Its obviously against the code of conduct re workplace etc etc.

The breaches, as per the Dogs release, "relate to players bringing young females of a consensual age back to the team hotel".

Supposedly only one of the players first met the girl at the school. The other just met in town.

Really difficult situation for the Dogs though.
