Luke should be getting 80 minutes at the Warriors this year, right? have him pencilled in at the moment because he should be underpriced with the few stinkers he logged while Madge was playing petty bastard with his minutes mid-season last year.

Thompson and Mannering should be playing 80 yeah? Hard to see 3 players playing 80m even with the new rule changes?
Worst case Lolohea plays 6 with Leuluai off the bench, then he definitely doesn't play 80m. Best case Leuluai plays 6, but Henry probably on the bench, so you still can't trust Luke to ply 80m come week 1? A lot safer options out there at 9 yeah?

I thought he was taking Townsend's spot at 5/8th, maybe I'm wrong though, don't really keep tabs on what teams not named the Broncos are doing over the off-season until the trials kick into gear.

Luke has pretty much always been an 80 minute player. It's generally only injury that robs him of minutes. Every year people get worried about his gametime, but every year he plays big minutes.
No idea why this happens
Averaged 74 minutes last year.
Take out the 4 games he played less than 70 minutes and he jumps from a 48.9 to a 52.9 average, so there is a bit of value there.

Milchy was it you last year who posted up the discounted players (because of injury or lack of games, wasnt it like 3% for every game under 11 played?) I think that was the biggest help to my starting team when sorting out those mid ranged players.

3% discount for every game less than 10
eg
Play 9 games - 3% discount
Play 2 games - 24% discount
Play 0 games - 30% discount from last year played, unless you are Russell Packer (0%) or Sam Burgess (12%) probably a few other abnormalities there as well.
Superleague players get a roughly 25% discount on their superleague stats. but it can be pretty random. Elliot Whitehead has been given a massive discount. It seems he'll be cheaper than Zeb Taia despite outperforming him last year (when they were both on the same team)
Basically if you played NRL last year they use a hard and fast pricing system even if it results in your being crazy underpriced (Gutherson, Hastings) or crazy overpriced (Cook, Hess, Cody Nelson)
But if you come from Superleague or rugby or whatever then they have a formula, but they ignore it if they don't like what it spits out.

hooking combo also something similar to what I was looking at. Did you go with Peats for his great byes again as the second hooking option? I was trying to decide out of peats and J friend who is gaurenteed the most 80 min gamesMilchcow wrote:
