I like JTurbo seemed like a throwback old school prop, big motor, solid tackler and makes his yards but can he get those extra attacking points that can take him to the next level fantasy wise, also has Myles there now as well, Lawrence returning

Isnt't Holmes nailed on for FB? Could be a great pickup 3 FB all around the same price who could all go very well this year in Fergo, Holmes, Gordon

As I understand it Bird has his eye on his prefered position  at fullback for the Sharks. Personally i would think he would be better at centre and Holmes at fullback and Barba running water to the team. How the mighty have fallen. Where did it all go so wrong with Barba?

At 420k he's too expensive. I had him last year & he really bugged me but was low on trades so I had to keep him.

Think Bird will flourish anywhere he plays, but i agree with you mate, Bird Centre Holmes FB! Holmes could be outstanding running the ball back with extra space the kid is fucking electric

Is Bird def not playing in the halves this year then? has that been confirmed?

Personally like Bird at 5/8.  Running 5/8ths have started to flourish again and should continue to light the game up with the reduced interchange, particularly if it goes to 6 eventually.  Just hope it doesn't do the opposite to the attacking hookers like Seggers/Granville etc who may be playing 80 week in week out then.

Could you imagine if your boy Frizell started wearing a manband?  Socks down, black boots, brain restraint=old school hero.

I think L. Ah Mau (357k) can really push on this year. He could get more minutes with Merrin gone. Although he averaged just under 40 last year his last 5 games he averaged over 50. The problem I have for my team as I want to get him in is that I already have Cooper & I think 2 Dragons is overkill. Thoughts.

I think that coincides with when Mooper moved to prop so where they both start Rd1 might help youyr decision.  I'm a big fan of how Ah Mau goes about getting his work done, but he's an awkward mid ranger to me.

Cooper is going to get his minutes and he is ultra consistant so i would have no worries about starting the pair, especially with Ah Mau's great end to the season and potenial to carry that into this year

Cheers SI. Yeah I think he'll miss out on my team by a whisker but like you I really admire his attitude on the field. Just really gets stuck in & does the grunt work but is also capable of a line break & has deceptive speed.

IMO I think JDB will fill the Merrin void. He was quite versatile in the forwards last year. This new limited interchange may reveal a few fantasy suprises and I think JDB will be one of them. At the end of the day though its up to the coach who gets extra time and you could be right with Ah Mau. My 2c

I like the idea of Ben Henry but im not sure what his mins will be like only because for quite a lot of games last year Thompson, Hoffman and Mannering all played the full 80mins. Can't really see it changing this year too

Won't matter mate he is almost at basement price, likely bench spot....good player when he isn't injured

But couldn't that spot then go to someone that is likely to get more of a chance than 10mins a game? I don't want to be stuck like some people were with Witchurch / Bateman as a 2nd row spot you cant upgrade last year

Not sure where he gets the minutes from but personally think he is too good to have that nikorima 10 bench stint, maybe Hoffman/Mannering/Bodene get more bench time this year, sure i read end of last year that Mannering said he was getting near the end of his career so was angling for more bench time to avoid injuries
