Not sure where he gets the minutes from but personally think he is too good to have that nikorima 10 bench stint, maybe Hoffman/Mannering/Bodene get more bench time this year, sure i read end of last year that Mannering said he was getting near the end of his career so was angling for more bench time to avoid injuries

Yeah true and maybe they all played that many minutes because the likes of Henry wasn't around!

IMO I think JDB will fill the Merrin void. He was quite versatile in the forwards last year. This new limited interchange may reveal a few fantasy suprises and I think JDB will be one of them. At the end of the day though its up to the coach who gets extra time and you could be right with Ah Mau. My 2c

That' a very good point re JDB. I actually think from a fantasy perspective that Cooper scores more points when he's in the front row. I would like it if JDB played lock & he would be a fantasy gun there.

I thought he had a few games at lock last year as well as front row. That seemed to be the in thing of 2015 where front rowers were playing lock. I think we will see even more of it this year with the interchange

I'm not sure Benry is even going to make the 17. If he does I'm sure a lot of people will jump on him

Dragons pack will be interesting too. Only one I've rely looked at is Cooper. Not sure I'll start with him. Pretty consistent scoring, but he's pretty much at his level so don't think he's going to go up in price too much. Will try and find more value to start with and upgrade later

Although he averaged just under 40 last year his last 5 games he averaged over 50. The problem I have for my team as I want to get him in is that I already have Cooper & I think 2 Dragons is overkill. Thoughts.

Interesting Dragons pack and how the set up will be with Packer oming in. Will he start or even make the bench. Will JDB start in the Front row and kill it. I think there are better choices to prop at Ah Maus price.

Looks like the fullback spot is up for grabs and if Bird does not get it he will play centre.

    Latest rumour finally official

THE Sydney Roosters have officially signed Broncos centre Dale Copley.

Copley informed teammates on Saturday morning that he was officially Sydney bound, thanking them for their friendship.

The 24-year-old leaves Brisbane after more than a decade with the club, which he began training with as a 13-year-old.

He will join the Roosters next week for training after putting pen to paper in the past 24 hours.

This means the Roosters will need to offload Michael Jennings or Shaun Kenny-Dowall, who faces court next month.

The Broncos had to shift Copley after signing James Roberts, who will play in the right centre position earmarked for Copley.

Well sad to see Copley go, especially as he really began to develop as a CTR the last couple years.

If he's not in the halves then would prefer to watch him at fullback then.  Obviously he knows himself better than anyone though and he wants to play centre.

With Copley going to the Roosters does this make him a more attractive buy & what sort of points range are we expecting. He's gone from a top side to another top side so I can't see much change.

But it could mean a guaranteed spot. Copley never had a lock on a centre roll at the broncos as he often was the odd man out between hodges, reed and himself. Average would be lowered as he had a fair few games off the bench if I recall. Goes to the Roosters where it is expected he gets the jersey Jennings will vacate. Haven't seen enough to back the guy as becoming a 350k+ centre but if he is priced low enough to start he could be a solid cash cow in an attacking position on an attacking team

Bennett said Copley would fill Hodges vacant spot after his retirement (before we purchased Roberts that is). I forgot what Copley is priced at for this year but should be a goer if he is under 250k

Copley is $170k, and dual WFB/CTR

I've gone him down to average ~27 as a CTR. Enough for a small cash rise, and some versatility in team selections.

Cheers Milch, so a 27 would price him at $229,000 = only a $59,000 upgrade. I think that there will be plenty better value for the wfb/ctr bench spot and $40,000 better spent somewhere else

Been looking at the Renegades team planner and it's got Break Evens on it. For the most part they're quite regular according to starting price but there are some big outliers on it (eg Arey $447k BE 24, Milford $363k BE 64).

Was wondering if these are mistakes or if there's any method behind it and BEs carry over from last season?
