Greenberg and Annessley pretty much saying season is continuing as normal behind closed doors. They are "considering" every option put forward by players, coaches and staff. Also say that if NZ decide to go home after this weekend it is possible for them to continue the competition without them.

Pretty much one day and one step at a time.

    2 points for the bye?

I'm not sure what everyone else opinion is, but Tariq was trying his best to injure J Reynolds on Sunday.

With everything that is going on with concussions and player safety, surely that type of targeted onslaught should be stopped. I love a good scrap, but he was putting huge shots on him when he was at his most vulnerable.

I also can't stand Jrey, but man it was so malicious. If i was a parent watching a game of NRL at that was my son being targeted like that, I'd be fuming.

Middies being sub 500k. Could expand upwards to a Leilua or further to Knight, but the sample of rookies and base price just isn’t big enough. I didn’t include Carrigan in the middies as he doesn’t count this year as a team makeup differential, as one of very few insta/auto-picks!

    The answer was always there,

    always the same.......

I just annoyingly strayed a little this year to owning 4 of said middie bastards ..........

All of them legal hits until the last one that went wrong. Both times he got smashed is when he passed at the line. He was treading a fine line that eventually went wrong, otherwise it's fine. He was hitting someone hard, so be it.

    Friend > Hors
    Musgrove > Watkins

Allows me to move Shiba into WFB and chuck Wiliame into emg as cover. Holding Stimson another round.

Agreed. I will only sell Stimson if there is a must have cheapie and he's the only way. The whole game was scrappy and low scoring so happy with how the minutes played out. Flicking Levi as I expected improvement behind a quality pack. Oh well

Anyone got advice on Horsey? Didn't go with him due to expecting Bateman back early but not sure how it's actually affecting the team.

Ref trades, play as usual I think. But don't trade anyone in who is there due to another player being injured. Personally, I'm going to play like this is the last round of the yearly have as much fun possible
Shit, if we are playing this like it’s the last round of the year then a ran out of trades about 4 weeks ago!

Well that's he job to smash the opposition & obliterate them. Have you ever played league because when I did you're always trying to take the opposition out & if they get injured & have to go off then it's a job well done. Similar to TPJ at the Broncos it's T. Sims' job at the Dragons to be the enforcer & push the limit of legality.

Warriors can't stay in Australia, but the Phoenix have 6 rounds left and seem to be fine with staying here.

So the Warriors want to go home after round 2. If they do the nrl should boot them out of the competition. There's plenty of jobs where employees get relocated overseas & they don't see their families for months & they don't complain because if the employee said to his boss I don't want to because I'll miss my family he'd be down the road.
So Warriors players go to a hardware store, buy some cement, swallow & harden the phuck up.

That’s a fairly ridiculous take IMO.

Tell me any job where with no notice they send you overseas for an indefinite period of time, where it isn’t explicitly part of the job description? (So not military when a war is declared, for example). They literally came over with a change of clothes and footy gear.

If I was in their shoes, I wouldn’t be keen either. It’s a pandemic and this is just footy.

I got 859, but when I looked at my comps I had 896! Couldn’t believe my luck! No upgrades that I could see, definitely scored 859! Just messing with my mind!

It's 6 months potentially off the bat with no contigencies in place for their families' routines. Even if the players wanted to stay, how many partners would be putting pressure on them, explicitly or not, to come home. Not gonna say straight off the bat they're stoked with spending 6 months away when it was only meant to be 2 days. A lot of them would also be studying, volunteering, and other commitments. Doubt if any other team was stuck in NZ they'd want to suck it up for 6 months. 6 games is definitely more palatable
