This is pretty much my concern too. May drop to 2-3 missed tackles (not marking Fifita is definitely a plus), but he looked a bit like a headless chicken, just seldom ever in a great position to be used in attack. I tell you what he did look like...

He looked like the Hess that started last year only to be moved to interchange and eventually centre when down on troops. Unfortunately the leaner, fitter thing this year didn’t help him turn back the clock. I’m taking a risk being outspoken when they are playing a pretty average Dogs team, but he does not at all pass the eye test all stats aside

Should have noted... I’m a Hess owner carrying some big regret for getting my team structure wrong Evil or Very Mad

All this talk about Hess but what about Sua? He is the one I’m looking at dropping, I didn’t think he looked good and didn’t like that he was subbed

As I was watching him last week I just remember thinking to myself that this guy ain't gonna be a 50 point scorer. Nothing from last week showed me he's even a 45 point scorer. I think he'll struggle to average 40.

    You trading him?

Sound move yep. Presumably it is to get someone like Wiliame away from starting?

Watkins looked a pro. Not as fast as he used to be, but clinical and lively enough. Good hands

I think he’ll bump up to 36-42 type territory this week. Absolutely fine but no place in my team for that shite. Would rather play Rudolf and cop 30.

    He gone, yep

Anyone got five for a Brimson chat?

I held week one because i didn't like the look of anyone else suitable at his price or less. Walters probably nearest to getting the gig but all the will he won't he talk put me off.

Its now week two and AJB is still marginal. I would have to shred a team that scored 870 Rd1 with Luai in Hlf promoted from #18 in order to replace with anyone of any quality, meaning lower 1-17 pts overall i feel.

    Thoughts?

Oh, and close the fucking schools.

Sorry to hear that @rhinoceroo hope you guys are doing ok.

Jordan Riki has copped an injury. Not sure what type of injury or how long though (source one of his good mates reece walsh on instagram) Not really fantasy relevant but just adds to the broncos middle problems.

Thinking of getting rid of Levi, got 651k to use if I get rid of him, who are some good options that I could get?

Taumalolo, so a team correction mate. Often my round 1 and round 2 trading is reverting to the team I didn’t (or should have) build and/or get the best missed cow.

Don’t trust any of them cows yet - notably warriors, so quick re-shape

Looks well balanced, you must have scored well this week. You are in the enviable position of not necessarily needing to trade this week.

Assuming for 14-17 would go Horse and keep the change. Good cow for a while

Otherwise for that money a great differential is G Williams. Sorry to go all raiders on you, but unless you have halves pairing of Moses and Cleary, you could think about moving Mann/Walters type to jersey 14 and bringing in an exciting differential who should also have a low floor

I have him, and like GreenMachine said, pre 2019 stats aside, he just didn't look like he passed the eye-test.
The only way I see him hitting 40+ at the moment is if Morgan/Drinkwater find some way of putting him into good gaps (but he'll still have to run good lines... and I just couldn't see it last week).
I'm about 70% sold on selling him... still some residual doubt, but mostly just regret on having him...

I did some projections based on future value at Round 7 (halfway to the bye) and based tenuously on a slowly diminishing magic number (last year it seemed a bit more rapidly diminishing early on).
Anyway, had him as gaining about $60K if he can average 40 from here on out, and about $100K IF he averaged 45 (circa 2018 Hess with Thurston).
I think there's better ways for me to make $100K with less risk and better balance for my team, so maybe actually 90% sold on moving him on
