52 minutes on the weekend? That's huge if he can maintain that

    He looked really lively too.

Just a reminder for this trading Stimson make sure it is to someone who’s JS is pretty solid as Dogs lockout first up so if any late changes to your trade you won’t be able to make changes.

Him, Twal, and Aloiai were great. Musgrove didn't look like he did in the trial but might have just been the time of the game he was on. Not used to getting excited about a Tigers pack for a long time.

With his attacking ability and minutes on top of a decent workload, I'll give him a week to see if he maintains. Same price as Flegler with better job security

I love Twal, can see how he frustrates some fans with little attacking intent but can't beat a worker

Yeah Regarding Flegler for those worried about Ofa.
He started the first 6 games at prop last year and then moved to the interchange until playing the last few at lock.
Ofa averaged 40 minutes off the bench last year; however, most of those was at lock. Cardigan is set for 60 at lock so maybe Ofa plays 20 at lock and 15-20 at prop leaving Haas for 70 and Flegler for 45-50 minutes and if Broncos are winning why change? Glenn goes to an edge, Ofa beefs up the bench. McCullough or Farnworth drop off. Flegler could still be in for some big minutes.

So is everyone trading in Katoa to play him in their 17? Stimson to Katoa is tempting for monetary reasons but I might just go Musgrove to Katoa and keep Stimson a week.

I kind of need to get Wiliame into the NPRs but using a trade on another centre after one round is nauseating. Will stick with him this week I think.

Just for me I think the money Katoa potentially makes outweighs the lost points from no Centre cover (which may not even eventuate).  Although in your circumstance it is a little more complicated not seeing most teams an hour out and being able to trade a Centre in if required last minute.  I think I'd take the potential cash still though.

Thanks for the advice. That’s where I was leaning. I really can’t see Lomax or Maubs (my center pairing) getting axed late. I also never thought I’d be living through a global pandemic. Oh well, I think I’ll take the risk

Mainly play draftstars these days. More traffic, bigger prize pools.

29% return in R1 for NRL last weekend. $2 comps is where I start each season for the first 6 weeks usually.

Doing the same trade. Musgrove > Katoa. Undecided if I'll play him over Stimson

He gets their weirdest minutes - that is more than he has ever received when starting at prop. Was someone injured?

He's only young so always growing. Maybe he becomes their big minute man with Twal.

Eisenhuth used to play decent minutes, maybe he has taken his role

I have noticed that a large number of the trades I am seeing in here are related to getting in cash cows, normally by getting rid of a poor performing cash cow.

I see it as far more important to correct mistakes with the core 17 point scoring players, than with your NPRs. The top 17 can provide both cash generation and points. Your NPRs are only for cash generation, and more low cost cash generation options will appear next week.

This is the week to be bold, make the big plays to remove mid rangers and guns that were a mistake and bring in the ones that you missed.

You can see my version of this in my team thread if interested, (dropped 2 poor performing mid-rangers to bring in a performing gun and a starting rookie).

Don't dump under performing GUNs after 1 round unless there has been a MAJOR role change ie Murray but don't see anyone running him

Draftstars is similar scoring to NRL fantasy and Moneyball similar scoring to supercoach (much more tries, assists focused, doesn't include kick metres).

If you've got the time, would advise giving both a crack (in the $2 comps if you want to play it safe) and see which one you're enjoying and performing better at. I've had inconsistent results but won one of the origin comps last year and won around $2.5 that day!

He was moved into a roving lock type role when Kelly came on last week. Kelly's named to start this week and as Peachey was pretty active in the roving lock role, he'll probably do the same off the bench this week.

If there are no crowds for 6 months does Origin still happen? If no Origin until post GF then do we still have bye rounds?

Congrats on the big win! Did you spend the $2.50 all at the same shop?
