Yeah its a funny situation, a player they have no need for, in a position they have tonnes of cover for, still having leverage to get a contract extensionMulvy wrote:

He cant really hold them over a barrel when he isnt even contracted for next season.
He might refuse to go this year, but what good would that do him? If he refuses to help the club, why would they re-sign him? If the club is baulking at re-signing, why would you stay?
He has a better chance of playing first grade at the Storm, and bettering his career

I see a lot of Stimson and Musgrove out but was I the only one that got sucked in by Ese Ese?
What was the deal with him last week? Played bugger all minutes. Is he a sell?

Stimson - Katoa
Hess - Walters
Both in the 17. Risky considering they both play tonight and the way I look at it, even if they both do well, I need money and some cash generation. Sitting on these guys with my EMG is going to kill me later on. Can see the Grant thing just not happening and Walters was good enough to not lose the role. Leaves me with;
Koro
Haas Carrigan
Lucy Fifita Knight
Moses Mann
Watkins Shiba
Pappy Lomax Nofo
Brailey Williams Katoa Walters
Luai Williame Musgrove Rudolf
308K in the bank to get Tolo next week if Williams and whoever else is shit.
Can anyone tell me if I'm losing the plot trading Walters in?
Could go Lomax to Drinkwater instead but I need the funds I think.

Apparently his rotation got stuff by HIA. I expect he will play normal minutes this week. But with his BE of 50 he will take a week to recover, and several to start making money again.
With SMat coming back and so much in the air, I am selling him. He is not a keeper and there are others that will make more money faster.

I think Walters is a bad IN, if you believe Grant will be there next round.
If no Grant then he is an excellent buy.

If I didn't have him already I would be waiting to see what happens with the trade next week. That said, then the issue is if Grant and Walters both get named it would pay to wait a week to see what their roles are. It's a gamble either way but if it was me and I was happy with the rest of my team I would probably take the punt and worst case burn a trade swapping to grant later.
TLDR; Whatever you decide to do will probably be the wrong one.

He only needs three scores of 40 to make 150k. Brooks is back rd5 apparently. It's a big punt but IF you think he plays this week at hooker and two weeks in the halves it's a big reward also. Even a 45 this week and two bench scores of 21 will make 100k. I have him already, but I'd still lean towards bringing him in if I didn't.

Thanks for the feedback lads. Reynolds is a spud, I still think Madge finds a place for him. Benji has his injury worries and age against him too.
I want to play differently this year and not sit on my hands and take a risk. Even if Grant comes can see Walters playing 60 minutes to start if he doesn't go to the halves with and still see good price rises. Think I will just do it. Tigers are looking good this year.

OK, I didn't know he took a head knock. I agree, the 500k is handy right now to jump on some missed cheapies and to fix the problem in the backs.

Those trading in Raiders forwards do you have a plan for if Ricky does his thing and rotates forward minutes again?
Havili minutes ranged between 4 and 40 while playing bench in 2019
Sutton ranged between 13 and 65 in 2019
Tapine ranged between 35 and 80 while fit in 2019
Horsburgh ranged between 16 and 50 in 2019
Young ranged between 7 and 80 in 2019
Soliola ranged between 23 and 52 in 2019
Lui ranged between 18 and 55 in 2019
Even Papali'i wasn't exempt ranging between 40 and 65

I don't think he got a head knock, someone else did which may have affected the rotations. But yeah I'd sell him.

I'd hate to see his minutes if it was actually him that copped the headknock. Selling for Katoa.

ok guys I've changed my trades from pure cash generation to cash plus points thoughts?
Sua --> Isaako, lomax to CTR Williame to 18-21
Musgrove to Katoa
worried that Guler's game was a 1 off and may not even see enough minutes
that being said negative BE should generate cash for 3 rounds at least (if we get that far)
any feedback helps

Depends on what you think happens with Grant.wolfking wrote:

If you think Grant comes in the next week or 2 then pick Drinky.
What’d you think of my trades of Stimson to Katoa and Musgrove to Watkins pushing Wiliame to EMG with 74k spare.
Also if I were you I’d hold Lomax another week then re-assess.

Hope Dogs fans get their wish and Britt late switch for Stimson so he becomes easy sell. Thinking of selling anyway
