    Widow vs Minto

    Flegler v Haas
    Cleary v Moses
    Hughes v Isaako
    Tedesco v Shibisaki
    D Fifita (c) v Koro (c)

So the Mintoans chose the Widow...

In what way, like Grant not a worthy cash cow because Walters starts all year?

Only takes one 20 minute performance for 15 points and the cash making dries up just like that. Takes a 3-4 35+ to really make that good cash.

I have Grant and not Walters so probably being very biased right now. My bad. Just see Walters as the fill in hooker whom is exceeding expectations so far.

I took this as MTB saying Grant is really good at football and won't be held out of a big minute role by a half turned hooker

The Tigers are not trying to push this trade through 2 weeks into a season to get a 20 minute bench hooker.

Yeah, this is what I meant.

Grant will be playing 80 minutes soon enough.

What if Walters has a blinder and they get the win again?

I'm not saying Grant won't be first choice but do they chuck him straight in when he hasn't played with the team or give him a week or two where time is more split? I know I'm just trying to justify my decision.

He will get the minutes eventually.

No way I would waste a trade on Musgrove to Katoa based on one week with him probably only lasting 3 weeks.

Also, why would anyone buy Billy Walters now if Grant is confirmed to come to the club for round 3. It's a long season and Walters is the perfect bench player covering half and hooker.

Ese'ese is an easy sell for me (should never have started with him knowing Klemmer and DSaifiti are origin props and play big minutes, along with a utility that can play lock, and two second rowers in the 17 that can also play lock) - who is the best player to pick up under $505K. Corey Horsburgh? At least I will get 4 good rounds out of him.

Tempted to hold Aekins against Dragons but not sure due to Crichton on bench.

My back five is quite terrible. Thoughts?

    Aubo Wiliame
    Papy Kennedy Aekins

With Dugan lurking have you got a backup plan if Kennedy is a late out? Have you got a backup ctr/wfb in your emergencies?

I am a bit stuck for trades

I sort of want Isaako, but only way to really get him is Friend out - which seems like a food way to score less points this week. Only real advantage would be having some cash balance for next week

Or the equally sideays/backwards JWilliams to Drinkwater.

Stimson stays because there is nobody cheaper that I want to spend a trade bringing in.

So perhaps just 1 trade for me, bringing in Katoa for Musgrove.

I thought you thought my idea Williams to Isaako was a bad idea.

Really tempted by Stimson to Watkins and Shiba EMG. Never wanted Stimson and they still rubbishing him on Bulldogs forum plus saying he gets rubbish service because of Lewis

    Hi lads

First time playing NRL Fantasy this year and stumbled across this forum and have found it extremely useful, so cheers!

Looking for some guidance on my first trades... I had a good Rd1, Ese'ese seems to be my main problem and am thinking of shipping out Lomax too.

Have a heap of options on my mind and can't decide, any thoughts?

    My team is:

    Smith
    Haas Carrigan
    Williams Fifita Ese'ese
    Wakeham Moses
    Shiba Aubusson
    Ponga Drinkwater Lomax

    Koro Katoa Walters Stimson
    Luai Wiliame Kennedy Rudolf

    Only $6k cash

Ese'ese to Horsburgh would be an obvious move but then reading about Hors' potential future risky job security on here has put me off...

Could go to L Leilua instead and then do Lomax to Watkins?

But then I also like the idea of bringing in Isaako or Hughes but that would mean my Ese'ese replacement has to be Mikaele or Guler

Ethan Lowe's 45 is going quietly unnoticed. Even off the bench he managed to get 55 minutes. If this Murray business flops I can see him moving back to lock and Lowe to an edge

    Welcome mate.

I'd definitely be getting Luciano in over Hors, simply because of job security. Watkins is one of the flavours of the week along with Shiba, Isaako, Katoa and Guler.

Ive got a couple options here, But would like some advice if that's okay.

Upvote: Lomax to Watkins, Su'A to Horsburgh (30k in the bank from memory)

    Or

Downvote: Wiliame to Watkins, Su'A to Katoa (110k in the bank)

I like the first option the most, but reading some things on this forum, have me alittle scared of Horsburgh's position and how long he will hold it for.
