I wouldn't believe a word China says the ccp always trys to save face. The problem I have with locking down schools is into days world both parents work just to survive. Kids are at home someone has to stay home and look after them no one has that type of sick leave or holidays oweing if schools get locked down before majority of businesses

Hence, my thinking that these two will coincide if schools were to be locked down.

Cotric isn't a supercoach pick, he gets so many points from TBs which aren't worth as much relatively on SC.

Still not a keeper in fantasy

At minimum he is behind Teddy, Turbo, Ponga, RTS and you can probably add Drinkwater, Hughes and Papy

Yes - the contradictory announcements are ridiculous. I keep feeling like NSW & Fed Gov are a married couple who are divorced - mum says one thing, dad says the opposite, mum changes tune but also undermines dad's declaration...
Teachers are getting overwhelmed, I'm having to support my faculty and try to reassure them that everything will be OK.

Thankfully the NRL is still on, and the Knights have recorded 2 wins.

What school are you at Mr Bludger?

Haha yep, those were the exact guys I listed yesterday when shunning Cotric.. also I forgot Nofoaluma at the time (sick price though).

CNK will probably outscore Cotric too. 42 average last year which is higher than Cotric's 3 seasons.

He was a much better pick when 50k cheaper last week. Now there isn't enough cash in him to be worth the two trades and he won't have keep level scores

Grant to start at Hooker for Tigers?

    Official announcement here - https://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2020/03/23/wests-tigers-sign-harry-grant-in-loan-deal-from-storm

Loan deal for 2020, players back to their clubs at end of the year (says that Tigers are working on extending Momirovski, although I thought they'd already done that - I can see Storm having both players next year)

Clarifies that they can play against each other when Tigers play Storm (in soccer loanees are often banned from playing against their owner club, so this is just making it clear that isn't the case here)

If Grant doesn't start this week, he'll start next week.

My best mate lives in Kunming, says that everything is getting back to normal over there. Most shops are back open and the kids go back to school next Monday. The thing that China has going for it, is that when their government put out the word to lock down, people damn well did. Whole ghost cities of people readily giving up their freedom because they know how important shit like that is in a population dense area. Also a totalitarian government would help with that kind of subservience, but they sure as hell didn’t have thousands of people taking a day at the beach and treating the issue with flippancy.

Probably posted that NZ essentially locked down for 4 weeks bar essential services. Sucks as self employed contractor but have enough food supplies to stay at home for a while and have negotiated payment holiday with IRD and will ask landlord if can switch weekly payments to end of month. Should be ok to resume contract if/when situation eases. My mum is 80 and still does part time homecare help for old people, go figure but she's been stood down with full pay.

    Highlights today

    1. Was 2pts behind in 1 H2H and lockout updates put me 1pt ahead. Season surely over?
    2. Had foresight to go to supermarket at 11am and do good food/drink supply run

Stay safe everyone. Let's ride this out

The Rugby League Report saying on facebook that NRL employees have been told they're on annual leave and the season could be suspended from today - obviously not a reputable source but worth noting I guess

This self isolation is not new for me because I've basically been self isolated for the last couple of years looking after my dementia dad. I can understand the mental health aspect because the loneliness/being away from my family & dog & not being able to leave unless I take my dad does get to you at times.

Phuck if the league & fantasy gets canned I'm going to go bonkers. It's the only thing that gets me over the boredom & loneliness.

Since you guys don't rate Cotric as much as I do, anyone got any ideas?

Budget is 683k, I can get anyone in HLF, WFB or CTR

My idea is not to cave just because a couple guys didn’t like your pick. If you have a gut feeling then run with it. You are gonna be kicking yourself if Cotric goes large again against the Dragons and you didn’t pick him because some other bloke said so.

My son come home today with a study pack and online logins. If he can learn from home and has supervision he doesn't go to school. If he doesn't, he takes his homework pack and logins and goes to school.

Just looked through some HLF and WFB and I reckon these guys are better than Cotric for under 683k (no doubt you have some already)

Morgan, Drinkwater, CWalker, Tom Trb, Hughes and Papenhuyzen.
