I think we take it further than some BK footage and petition for the full 2006 season replayed starting with round 1 this weekend so we get a live sweat

I’ll send some tweets to see if we can get it on fox! I got chipped firestick with bazillion sports channels Fox nrl is one of them along with 10 other NRL Live channels

I'll be sending in a team Milchy but just before deadline. I assume your 12pm Friday deadline is Aussie time so it's 2pm NZ time.
I'm glad people mentioned the scoring is similar to sc scoring because I've filled my team with try scorers.

Accepting teams until midday tomorrow (Sydney time, so approx 25 and a half hours from this post)

Early Friday afternoon will reveal selected teams and ownerships, plus the stats for the first game of 2006 - Defending premiers Wests Tigers vs St George Illawarra Dragons 

Other round 1 games will be revealed over the weekend, and round 2 trades should open up on Monday

tbh I only decided to play when I saw the greatest rugby league name in history appear on the price lists. That man is Tom Learoyd-Lars. Alas he's on the bench so won't be in my squad but another huge man with a great name is in my team. That man is David Shillington because he sends shills through any player game enough to tackle this beast.

My team is in, very excited.
It's funny how everyone is keeping there cards so close to their chest.
This is by far the most and team I've ever assembled, and only $4K to spare.

On a similar note, NRLCeo are running a 2004 comp and I've paid with some mates to play that too. Done even less research for that one, but simpler scoring, no prices and snake draft, so there's still time

if anyone really wants a team but can't meet the deadline just send me a PM

If you can get a team in by the weekend we can work something out, the whole comp relies on an honour system so there may be some leeway in getting a team in.
Worst case people can just start from round 2.

I just noticed Josh Miller is in this comp.

He is lucky the game won't be played under 2020 HIA/Concussion rules or he'd never get a game.

Hahaha I remember we always used to joke that if you got double points for tackling with your head then Miller would've been an uber gun.

We laugh but he would be a prime candidate for CTE. Gotta feel for players of the game from that era and before.
