Kaysa thankfully played in an era with concussion protocols.
Josh Miller would knock himself out on an almost weekly basis and be allowed to play on.

Final team incoming... I'm obsessing over this a little too much. I should be out in the garden tidying it up but nah, hours staring at a spreadsheet instead

My dad played for Pt Chev in the days when their team was great & was full of Kiwis & he said the only way you got taken off the field was if you literally couldn't walk. They had a doctor at each premier game & he would decide. He told me one game at carlaw park this guy got hit in the throat by an elbow & nearly died but even then he stayed on the field. Apparently although now illegal the elbow in the throat was a common tackling technique.

I started watching NRL classics Norths v Penrith 1991 semi the other night. About 20 mins I think Brad Izzard cops an accidental elbow in a tackle and is knocked out... face first in the ground, immobile. They stop play briefly because he's in the way and on the next tackle he's sprinting past the play to get back into the defensive line for the next tackle. I actually felt a bit icky watching something that was completely normal until very recently.

I will submit what I came up with around 5pm. I haven't looked at it again. I spent an hour on Saturday coming up with a team and haven't looked since. Not like I know who I'm really looking at anyway so will have some fun regardless. Expecting to be an easy beat in this comp haha.

Up to 17 entered teams - we have a new most selected player after today's team entries (in 14/17 teams. Previous most popular has gone from 8/10 to 13/17) 122 different players selected altogether.
All to be revealed tomorrow afternoon.

@JustHerefortheBreakEvens @White Lightning @mrstephenb I don't have teams from you, please send something through tomorrow if you want to play
