So because its 2006 are we using 2006 scoring rules where I will get an AE for Liam Fulton's zero? Very Happy

Sorry to spoil the party - but in keeping with my promise to update on season ending injuries - Liam Fulton dislocated his shoulder in that game does not play again in 2006

But with the team lists, is there any chance of late withdrawals?
Just wondering as I have Reece Simmonds in NPR pos 1 (5 pts) Yikes

No late withdrawals - teams posted are final teams

I will come up with a metres gained plan before lockout is lifted

It will have to apply to a bunch of players, not just those with 0 (did Whautira run for just 6m in that game? and a bunch of other players have single digit stats)

Because this was the first year I kept a stats record, must have had a few hiccups in collecting that I never cared about until now.

I liked VK's suggestion of taking average from the season and giving it to players for missing games

If anyone has any suggestions about how to handle missing stats, just shout out.

Note that it only appears to be an issue for a few of the early rounds

Can't have some players getting 0 and others scoring.

Looks like even those that got meters had higher meters than were recorded in the stats, for example triple try scorer Whatuira had far more than the 6 meters that he was given, so just fixing the 0s doesnt resolve it.

I think the best solution in the circumstances would be everyone gets 0 meters until the stats are correct.

Main question is who gets the average? Just people on zero or others as well that look sus.
Paul Whatuira ran for more than 6m, Clint Greenshields would have done more than 12

Everyone for first 6 rounds? You said that's when the data starts to normalise right?

Playing without run metres would change a bunch of picks for me and I assume others

Rounds 1,2,3 and 5 are ones with missing data (looks like round 4 is good, then back to dodgy for a week, and then normal for the rest of the season)

That's not that fair either tbh. Such a massive disadvantage to the players that get monster base stat run metres vs a lazy winger etc. It kills my Schifcofske pick

Average of the remaining rounds applied to all players for those rounds sounds the fairest way to me. If people specifically picked metre eaters (Schifcofske, Price for myself) they would be severely disadvantaged by 0's

That would provide certainty of performance of a key stat for the remaining season. Maybe the average of a sample of 3 ish rounds at random from 2006 season?

I would have kept quiet and plugged in some believable numbers for the impacted players. I salute your honesty Milchy haha

No you arent following. If we give everyone their average meters for the season in round 1, then we know who to target based on known future performance for the rest of the season. A sample of a few rounds doesnt provide that same level of certainty

Gotcha, maybe a weighted mixture(created by Milchy) of 2006 average metres and 2005 average metres. Since we won't know the weighting it is difficult to use for future performance

For reference 90 out of 332 available players averaged 100+ metres in 2005, so it would be taking 10 points a game from roughly 1/3 of the comp if we went 0
