Sorry Milch, me too, no more tinkering...

Please tinker away, that is the fun of it. I just don't need to see every iteration you come up with

Hi Milchcow, I've manually updated the scores for the players below in my spreadsheet, just missing prices for O'Hara (Tigers) and Learoyd-Lars (Raiders). Thanks Smile

    Bickerstaff St George Illawarra Dragons
    Paea Sydney Roosters
    Crockett Wests Tigers
    Price St George Illawarra Dragons

Both should already be in the spreadsheet

    O'Hara West Tigers 377k
    Learoyd-Lars Canberra Raiders 296k

In the original spreadsheet there are missing hyphens on O'Hara / O'Donnell any other O'people

Hi all, I looked up the following clarifications to team lists (as these teams have more than one player with the same surname):

    Jason Smith starting for Canberra
    Cameron Smith starting for Storm
Steve Turner on bench for Storm
Lopini Paea on bench for Roosters
    Ben Walker starting for Rabbitohs

No your spreadsheet is fine Smile
I was just creating a lookup based on surnames and made some mistakes in copying over some names

No not a lurker. I play Sportsdeck Dream Team with Simon Templar (used to play official NRL Fantasy before it switched to the current format) he alerted me to the 2006 retro fantasy. It’s a great idea!

Going through team lists in a bit more detail looks like a few 1-2 week traps with big name players missing

Bit of a reshuffle to get in a gun WFB

Yeah I haven’t looked at squads properly at all. Good chance half my cash cows are dropped after a month for returning injured players.

So this is what the weekly summary will look like for price changes/BEs

    NRLFF 2006 Fantasy thread - part 2 Let's get ready to rumble - Page 5 Test_s11

    The columns
    are
    Name
    Price at start of round
    Round Score
    Price at end of round
    BE for next round
    Current season average
Price change next round if they score their average (note this is expected change for the next round, not change for the round that just happened)

I will only run price changes every game round, but they may have more than 1 NRL round score included in them (This should make changes smaller than running 2 individual price changes one after the other)

Obviously the scores I've put in are made up - but this should give a bit of an idea as to what a range of scores will do to expensive players

    Any questions or comments

I don't know if you were planning to already, but you could put rounding on those price changes
    e.g.
    =ROUNDDOWN(priceformula,-3)
Just makes the numbers a bit easier to work with

    Hey milch, a thought.....

Would this work if it was put into @ Mytvbroke site?

He already has a DB set up to manage price changes and a GUI that works?

That's a question for mtb really.

Its a big ask to create a scoring/trading system from scratch and I don't want to force that on anyone who isn't volunteering.
