Any other injury updates wanted, let me know

    Just seeing this now!!

    Instincts tell me I’m off my head not following this Tupou move... Bit smelly that it’s more popular than min priced Payne Haas was in the real thing! That said, I just can’t field a First-13 unless I get a FRF, 2RF or CTR as my cashout enabler, so here goes;

    Trades:

Jamie Soward & Dallas Johnson OUT
Jonathan Thurston & Tony Martin IN

    R5:

    Karmichael Hunt
    Hazem El Masri
    Nathan Merritt
    Tony Martin
    Willie Tonga
    Johnathan Thurston
    Scott Prince
    Nathan Hindmarsh
    Tom Learoyd-Lars
    David Stagg
    Anthony Laffranchi
    Luke Douglas
    Alan Tongue
    Brent Webb
    Darren Albert
    Andrew Price
    Bronson Harrison

    Michael Crockett
    Greg Inglis
    Steve Turner
    Antonio Kaufusi

    R6:

    Karmichael Hunt
    Hazem El Masri
    Nathan Merritt
    Greg Inglis
    Willie Tonga
    Johnathan Thurston
    Scott Prince
    Bronson Harrison
    Tom Learoyd-Lars
    David Stagg
    Antonio Kaufusi
    Luke Douglas
    Alan Tongue
    Brent Webb
    Darren Albert
    Michael Crockett
    Steve Turner

    Tony Martin
    Anthony Laffranchi
    Andrew Price
    Nathan Hindmarsh

And for those playing at home... yes Scott Prince survives the cut again Rant

Welshy, you like a bit of Tongue anywhere! Remember this is 2006 not 2020. No 80 min forwards or hookers so bench start are not really a problem. The highest money earner on my team has only started one game

Does anyone know who would spell McGuire at hooker? Should get reasonable game time now you would think.

Fitzhenry playing number 6 too for Benji. Dunno if that's a good or bad thing for fantasy but will take it.

Milch, who were the 3 players added to the spreadsheet round 3? Gattis?

NVM, found them. Gattis, Jason Williams and Peter Lewis

I was looking at the team trying to work it out. Maybe that Ian Lacey I've never heard of?

Ok so I need a half and looks like the goal kicking Orford is it.

    Soward to Orford
    FFMM to Tupou

Means I'll have round 5 and while I'll have 17 r6 now I have to guess which winger will score a try.

Legit stuck for a cheap option this week for the 2nd trade. I don't really want to grab Tupou, because I already have seven WFBs, so need some positional depth. Isemonger looks good on paper, but I don't remember much about him at the Dragons, and I support the Dragons. So not sure he'll last.

Who cares about depth? You can have eight in your starting 17 not play and still field 17 scorers. You just want the best.

What hope have I got of beating you in H2H when you have a 25 man squad

The 2006 POD Champion of Champions: Round 2

The week where Hazem El Masri scored 4 tries, 126 points and jumped from being in 12 teams to being in 16 teams (and now a Too-Popular player) - congrats if you didn't own him, you get a bonus POD point!  Sad

Round 2's top 8 POD's and the bottom 4 are:
    NRLFF 2006 Fantasy thread - Round 5+6, I love fullbacks - Page 12 Pod_ki12

Congrats to the two owners of the great Shane Webcke, and to some great POD's this round including too Willies (Zillman & Mason) and a Tuimavave.

After taking out the title last week, Paul Whatuira's slumps to a lowly 17 and takes out second spot for worst value POD of the round, well edged out by all round nice guy and occassional face stomper Billy Slater.

    Ha yes.

I also think its a bit more complicated than just get the best 17 you can, at least at this point. If you've got some duds in your current squad you'd like to avoid scoring altogether you need to be a bit mindful about positions to block them out.
