Is this including trades made for R3 before suspension of season occurred or did you have both Grant and Magoulias beforehand

Wow. Our starting teams are identical. My full squad is:

    Api
    Haas Carrigan
    Tolo Leilua DFifi
    Moses Mann
    Maubbs Lomax
    Papi Drinkwater Kennedy

    Friend Simonsson E.Katoa Walters
    JTB Rudolf Wiliame Musgrove

    117k itb

Bold signifies our teams differences - Only 4/21 and only 2 in our playing 17. I'll most likely be trading DFifi, Kennedy, Simonsson & Musgrove

White Lightning wrote:This Cleary 2 game suspension is good for me as a Moses owner because I was going to swap them so it saves me a trade. With Cleary out Luai will be viable to play in your 17.
On Will Kennedy I read in a sc thread that apparently Moylan won't be back until July so Kennedy owners should be safe in the interim.
My 3 big problems are D. Fifita, Knight & Watkins.
My minor problems are E. Katoa, B. Walters, Aubusson & JTB but those 4 should be safe short term but I think I'll trade JTB to Grant just to reduce my Warriors players.
So far my trades will be:
    Knight out - Watson in
Watkins out - Isaako in (via Shibasaki)
    D. Fifita out - Yeo or Twal in
    JTB out - Grant in
You don’t reckon Dugan comes back and plays fullback with Kennedy missing out?

If Kennedy is safe to July I may well just shift Shiba to centre and bring in Kennedy into WFB. Either that or I go Watkins to Best.

I really hope Magoulias gets the lock role but I still reckon he will play off the bench. If Magoulias starts I can then go Williams to Magoulias via David Fifita to Lolo which is my dream scenario.

Forgot about Dugan but realistically how many games will he & Moylan last before breaking down. I posted the other day that apparently Corey Parker said Lodge might miss the first 2-3 games but now he's gtg so the Moylan not being back until July news could end up being wrong as well.

Just heard on the radio the Q'land female politician said the only reason you can't get vaccinated & still enter the state is due to medical reasons & nothing else so those anti-vaxers are still not in the clear.

So I have 26 trades left and 74k spare, here is my squad!

    Api
    Haas Knight
    Luciano Williams Fifita
    Moses Cleary
    Aubbo Watkins
    Shibasaki Drinky Pap

    B. Brailey Carrigan E. Katoa Walters
    Luai JTB Rudolf Wiliame

I think I’ll hold Cleary then there are a number of other things to deal with.

I do not think I have enough cash generated to get who I want yet like some of the rest of you guys!

I must find a way to get Lolo in and ASAP I feel.

Anyone got any advice for me?

I could actually just go Watkins to Grant and then play Wiliame at centre via Fifita to Lolo. That sounds very tempting hmmmmm.

Just be aware guys I am likely to change my mind daily over these next 14 days cheer cheer lol!

I’m also looking at Lawrie but with McInnes back and likely to go to lock when Issac comes on my concern is Lawrie’ mins could go down from 55-60 to 45mins and I couldn’t justify buying him for that as he would likely score 40-45 and not a keeper.

As for Tevaga Kearney said late last season he will have to better manage his minutes for the sake of his career.

Twal is one I’m sure looking at but I was lulled in last season and then all of a sudden his scores went back to low 40’s rather than the 50-55 point scores he was putting up.

I guess whoever you choose there is always a risk involved!

On another note Tommy T looks tempting at about 640k, could be perfect to bring him in but I’d just need to hope for a couple more good scores in 80min from Aubbo to make Tommy T happen via Shiba back to centre.

So there are about 6 poster boys from Canberra, Manly & Titans who wont be able to play in QLD. But the article mentions 20 players. So who are the other 14 we don't want in our fantasy side ??

My favourite part of this shit show was when Cartwright's partner posted a picture of their healthy kids and claimed the 'proof was in the pudding', completely missing the fact that advances in medical science and a comprehensive vaccination program have allowed a situation where thousands of aussie kids don't die each year of polio, diphtheria, typhoid, cholera, mumps, rubella, measles, whooping cough etc regardless of whether their parents are idiots or not.

For what it's worth I am not entirely convinced we should be forcing these dudes to have a vaccination unrelated to COVID. I know it can lead to stand downs etc but really, even with having the shot you can still show mild flu symptoms which will lead to the same situation. I suspect that current policy is creating some martyrs helping dangerous movement lead by a bunch of pamphlet readers to gain momentum.

How long is Fifita supposed to be out for? I am going to make a call on him at the last possible moment if there is any chance I can save a trade in down the track.

This is after the original R3 trades, which will probably be reversed (J.Williams and Musgrove > Grant and Magoo)

Too early to start looking anyways. I'll have a closer look once the draw is released and team lists come out.

As someone who suffered as a non-owner of Tevaga I don't think he needs to be fully fit, he's still going to get 40-50 flops a game. He's like the 2020 Hindmarsh. Recall him being 3rd man in tackles almost all the time and he's 10 points underpriced based on lock average last year

Twal also was starting on bench in backend of last year so you could probably disregard mins then as he's probably Tigers best forward

Well I did enjoy Tevaga somewhat last season as an owner but when he went down every few minutes I cringed.......

    Good point re Twal.
