    pulled this from an article about Foran's return in round 3 on nrl.com, seems that Britt will get the edge spot

    "He has been defending on the left edge alongside second-rower Dean Britt and winger Nick Meaney said Foran's presence lifted the confidence of the entire side."

    Priced pretty awkwardly. In his two starts at 2nd row last year he scored 49 (with a try) and 45

    So what you're saying is everyone is bound to get hyped by the new kid in class and trade him in at his awkward price for him to produce awkward scores and have people regretting the decision to then sell him after two weeks and he busts out a 60 point game making everyone instantly regret their decision??

    TL;DR those scores were with a much better attacking Rabbitohs squad. Instead of the defence first Bulldogs.

    Dean Britt will definitely put up the scores we wanted from Stimson and be an absolute must have trade in (by my count there are now 7 "must have" trade-ins for our 4 trades, so I hope everyone is ready to be flexible on the definition of '"must have")

    PS Don't ask me to name the 7, I just made up a number. But I do think the term "must have" gets overused on here. Harry Grant is probably a must have, and that is about all I could state with any confidence at this point.

    haha. i dont know.

    in games over 40 mins (6) he has averaged 43 from 54 minutes. That's pretty good, but I don't know how many of those minutes were played in the middle third either. He appears to have a good work rate.

    I think I would prefer Guerra for $40k less than Britt on a better team.

    why would you want a 25 min interchange player?

    EDIT i realised why, but Sione will get the starting spot

    Bert Andrews
    @bertbysea
    Hey Baz, any word on how Mitch Barnett is recovering, and who is likely to slot into the right edge in his absence? I had assumed Sione but I wasn’t sure if that was right, and O’Brien didn’t seem to mention it in the presser the other day @BarryToohey

    Barry Toohey
    @BarryToohey
    It will be Sione Bert. Barney unlikely to miss too many games.

    I'm having a look at Britt tbh. I'm stuck for trade ins really. My 4 outs are locked in unless TLT changes things

    You punting Williams and Levi?

    At this stage I'll definitely trade Kennedy, Walters & Fifita.

    If I use my 4th trade on Williams or Levi, no doubt whichever one I punt will score 50+

    Probably keeping Levi. He might pick up some more scoots. I love a scoot. Top of my list to trade out the week after if he stinks

    Out Watkins Fifita Williams* Musgrove* (TLT pending)
    In Grant ? ? ?  Laughing

    Holing Levi and Walters for another week at this point

    Honestly haven't looked at my squad for ages! Can't bring myself to do so until team lists are made. I don't even know who is a trade out in my squad.... I don't even know who is even in my squad. lol!

    Is Connor Watson on the trade-in list? Would one Fanatic who has kept up with the news be able to supply a sort of watch list (trade-ins/players of interest vs. trade outs/injuries/suspensions)? Saves me doing the hard work Smile

    Any gun

    Players I am considering trading:

    Trade outs: Fifita (injured 3-4 weeks), Watkins (permanently left NRL due to COVID), Walters (likely to lose spot to Grant, maybe worth keeping 1 week if on bench), Williams/Knight/Levi (either underperforming expectations/not overperforming enough to be worth price), Kennedy (cavalry back for Sharks), Musgrove (not getting enough mins off bench, slow burn)

    Trade ins: Grant (no explanation needed), Twal (2 60+ scores, 2nd purely base), Yeo (if stays at lock will continue to outperform price), Watson (great HOK average, though Randall may take mins away from him), Magoulias/J Hopoate (cheap, -BEs, short term though for JHop), any Origin gun you previously were ignoring as Origin post-season

    Injuries/Suspensions: Cleary (2 match suspension), Ponga (1 match suspension), Fifita (3-4 week knee injury), Tevaga/LAM (knee & pec injuries - benefits Katoa & JTB)
