What are peoples thoughts on Lockyer vs Johns. Obvious pro for Johns is no origin but Lockyers current run of scores is very appealing.

The only explanation is people gambling on a run of tries.

I mean if you want a fantasy irrelevant rep centre Matt Gidley is cheap.

Amped for this. Used to love Broncos vs Dragons games back in the day.

Had a friend who was a Broncos fan and I was a Dragons fan pre-Warriors. I converted and went to all the Warriors games when they turned up and he stayed with the Broncos so we still watched these games together and I was always at his old man's place for every origin game, all of us being big QLD fans.

I honestly don't remember this one at all, don't even remember Frase having a second game for Brisbane

I've been enjoying Lockyer ever since I got him a few week backs and just paired him up with Johns this week so hoping to get the best of both worlds.

I haven't taken too much note of Johns' try scoring, but Lockyer seems to be scoring a few tries at the moment to keep those nice scores ticking over. Even if Johns is scoring tries, it doesn't seem to be quite as many and he always seems to score well regardless, so I'd agree with Welshy that he seems to have the better base.

I''m not expecting Cooper to match Gasnier in try scoring, but Cooper is defensively solid and is big and strong enough to make a few line breaks and off loads. Hopefully he can counteract a lack of tries with tackles, LB's and OL's.
120K cheaper helped the decision as well.

And a try every week would be nice too !!
