    Round 10 = 44 tackles
    Round 11 = 45 tackles
    Round 12 = 39 tackles
    Round 13 = 34 tackles
    Round 14 = 45 tackles

I was definitely considering him, seems like he should have a 40 point floor IF he can stay at Hooker.
I'm still primarily aiming at players with upside due to a role change (or form) or reputation now

Coopers last 4 games average is 38 and he's priced at 37, and he misses the difficult Round 17 bye.
Price last 5 average 48, pretty much the same as his price average 47 and also misses 17.
I'm pretty sure I could find a dozen players around the same price that are priced close to their average that don't miss the bye...

I think if your trades for next 2 rounds allow you to field 17 players in the tough origin bye then it doesn't matter about timing, because another traded player will have a bye coming up also.

that 48 average is in the top 5% for FRF in this format in regards to Price, would need to maintain it to be worth the trade in though as his season average of 43.5 is not overly impressive for his price tag.

IMO Cooper would be mid priced punt, he's only scored 3 so far, finished last season with 13 so has gone big before, started season as gun CTR option but failed to live up to pre season billing currently, only way is up for Cooper but do you want him over Gasnier/Hodges/Bell/Faumuina (if stays at lock)

The 2006 POD Champion of Champions: Round 14

Matt Utai always was a good rocks and diamonds player and is this weeks top points scorer.
Meanwhile Fa'alogo's point scoring run comes to an end with a thud.

    R14 - THE TOP 8 AND THE BOTTOM 4:

Shadow Sabres turn to top the table!

    R14 SCOREBOARD:

The rivalry at the top continues, while only 6 points separate 7th from 4th.

The 2006 POD Survivor Head to Head series: Round 14

This week we had the big face-off between MS and Code Delta
While #9 unseated the resident #1

    ULTIMATE POD H2H SURVIVOR:

A great week for MS as he now tops the table in both POD comps.

    ULTIMATE POD H2H SURVIVOR LEADERBOARD:

    That's it for this week.
There will be a slight change in scoring from Round 18 onwards (to reflect the shift from cash accumulation to more of a points accumulation focus - and to save me a little time).
From round scoring you will ONLY be able to pick up top 8 (or bottom 4) points on PODs that you play.

That is true but as you mentioned the price of Grimaldi is much cheaper. I'd want Hindmarsh over Kennedy/Thompson so the extra cash going Grimaldi will help getting Hindmarsh. Also as a Bulldogs fan I always remember Grimaldi as a tackle bot rattling off big tackle counts. He started the season pretty slow but as I posted the last 5 games he's averaged 41 tackles per game so he looks like he's back in business.

Tough to know from not watching the games, but any chance he is replacing the normal output from Andrew Ryan while Ryan is backing up from Origin? Might have to move Grimaldi on sooner rather than later

Gonna go for a POD in Jason Croker. Solid base stats. A bit up and down and about where he's priced but why not. Was going to cashout to Dane Tilse, but I guess I can see if he gets through a game and plays next week first. Liking Todd Carney with that low BE also.

Greg Inglis OUT - Jason Croker IN
Adrian Purtell OUT - Todd Carney IN

    Round 15 team;

    Hazem El Masri
    Brett Stewart
    Tony Martin
    Jake Webster
    Brian Carney
    Todd Carney
    Greg Bird
    David Shillington
    Cameron Smith
    Luke Douglas
    Steve Menzies
    Alan Tongue
    Paul Gallen
    Jason Croker
    Reni Maitua
    Simon Mannering
    Steve Turner

    Jarryd Hayne
    Corey Parker
    Craig Stapleton
    Taniela Tuikai

Not sure to play Tuner at FB or punt on Hayne scoring more tries.

I believe I'll have 185K left over in my cap.

I basically was 50/50 on bringing in him or Guttenbeil at R10/11. So much regret. Outscoring him and was about 50k cheaper

Confirmed doing none of this hahaha.

I actually hate this trading round, really not loving any options I've come up with.

At least 5, as NRL looks to be on course for a restart on time

I actually think playing the 2006 fantasy game has been great preparation re tactics for the restarted fantasy comp. Get in the guns as fast as you can & not focussing on value as much.

Good point. Max trading R3/4 and having 18 trades for 16 rounds left seems pretty similar to this. Assuming any of us can show the restraint to only trade every second week
