How do you think Luai goes with no Cleary?

Just came back to Fantasy today, my team is an absolute wreck and due to some personal things (ie losing my job, fucking virus) I was struggling for motivation. Was going to flag it but I will need something to do with my extra time!

Anyway, due to having Walters/Cleary as my halves, I am going to have to run with Luai and Fogarty for a couple of weeks. Also have Watkins/Levi/Fifita to deal with. At this stage I am going

Stimson to Grant
Fifita to Lolo
Walters to Fogerty
Levi to Brailey

Leaves me with 286K next week to strengthen other areas and also get some cover in the WFB and centres. I am fucked for any Overall leagues but maybe if I make smart choices I can make some top 8s and do something there. Hopefully Knight and Williams can improve and ease some concerns.

Any word on Aubbs, likely to be longer than a round absence?

I could definitely hold Levi and Williams but it feels like Dedwards last year and with me looking like wanting to hold Walters and Kennedy for another week or so they'll become my  and  fodder. What do you think of these trades?:

Leaves 239k to help fund Cleary in a couple of weeks.

Wouldn't surprise me, death of a parent is a big thing to get over. We were hearing Crichton training at 2RF, which makes sense if his father was seriously ill this week.

I don't think his KM's will change a great deal so I'm not expecting a big difference unless he makes a few busts (which he has the game for and will have a little more opportunity). So still boom or bust with a slightly increased chance of boom.

I am thinking very few will, everyone is making their big moves now and next week with 8 trades available to fix everything up and spend all their cash.

Fark 4 trades is so good, managed to plug most of the leaks in my team and set myself up for good cash generation so I'm actually looking sweet for the rest of the season despite being in the top 30k by the skin of my teeth hahaha

The upside is that he may get his hands on the ball/demand the ball more in attack, which could translate to more points.

I assume he'll play right side so fingers crossed some extra kick metres .. but yeah id assume burton does most of the kicking

Welcome back mate, sorry to hear about the job. Trades not bad, but why wouldn't you trade Watkins to Fogerty instead of Walters? Walters named on bench with low BE has a bit of cash to make.

Cheers, at my old job I did a few different things, mostly stock management and customer services. I was there for 15 years so it is a shock to the system really, never been unemployed in my adult life.

Thankfully due to my long service, I will get about 3 months worth of wages for my redundancy so I have a bit of time on my side, but it is going to be really tough to find a job. I have applied for 2 already so we will see.
