I am thinking very few will, everyone is making their big moves now and next week with 8 trades available to fix everything up and spend all their cash.

Been planning the whole time since suspension

Should be able to do it fairly easily with Su'A + Mann to Cleary + Fogarty as have 230k ITB

Welcome back mate, sorry to hear about the job. Trades not bad, but why wouldn't you trade Watkins to Fogerty instead of Walters? Walters named on bench with low BE has a bit of cash to make.

That makes a ton of sense actually. A bit rusty in my Fantasy thinking Very Happy I will make that change. Cheers, glad I came back here haha

Tentative trades with me keeping Ponga, Cleary and Aubbs

means I lose my pre season mid rangers who I predicted to make Cash whilst providing 5-8 point average hikes in JMK and Knight

    DFifita - Haas
    Musgrove - Grant
    JMK - Fogarty
    Knight - TTurbo

    Koroisau
    Haas, Carrigan
    Leilua, Taumalolo, Katoa
    Mann, Luai
    Williame, Shiba
    Turbo, Drinkwater, Papy

    Grant
    Brailey
    Rudolph
    Fogarty

    Walters
    Aubbs
    Ponga
    Cleary

    Thoughts?

    Stimson > Grant
    JMK > DCE
    Musgrove > Fogarty
    Williams > Katoa

    Lining up

    Koro
    Haas Carrigan
    Lolo (c) Murray Arrow
    DCE Luai
    Lomax Wiliame
    Pap Drink Kennedy

    Brailey Grant Katoa Rudolf
    Fogarty JTB Walters Watkins

A late Moylan inclusion would fuck me but hey not looking bad

I would be trading out Murray ahead of JMK. I have JMK in my team and really happy to hold him. Getting 80 minutes every week, great job security, made 55 tackles in round 2, coming back from shoulder surgery. His base is great, will add running meters too, especially with new rules. Can see him averaging 50, which has him massively under-priced.

Murray is going to sink like a stone, unless they end his 2RF experiment. 70 BE this week, going to get similar scores to JMK if you are lucky for $200k more.

Haha, mate that's what I've been spending most of my time on. Current plan leaves me with 239k to play with, should be able to do something with that, maybe Mann plus another cash out, but I fully expect to have another injury by then.......

Solid Welshy. Very similar to my trades - an injury, a dud and two midrangers to two guns and two decent looking cheapies. I'm trading in the same guys except Matterson instead of Haas, as I already have him. Unlucky to cop Ponga, Cleary and Maubs, but they are all holds.

Purely based on him having the cash stocks to allow other trades whilst keeping Aubbs/Cleary/Ponga and getting Haas

Why are you giving up on Knight? Not saying you shouldn’t I just want to know as I am a Knight owner who would benefit a lot cash wise by getting rid of him

I could go Aubbs instead of JMK who I do have wraps on for 5-8 point increase but leaves my CTRs as Shiba and Williame for a decent while

I could go also go Tedesco and Twal over Turbo and Haas. I think

Am I the only chump on here with Turpin?.....Im unsure what to do with him. He was my POD pick preseason but has fallen short of what I thought he would produce in the first couple of rounds..ill probably hold for now

I don't have Knight (my mid rangers are Williams and Levi) but all of these guys were always marginal picks that got debated ad nauseum in pre-season. They may make some cash or continue to be duds but probably won't be keepers and their funds allow you to do some cool things. Now is the time to be bold, fix the team and set yourself up for the rest of the season imo.

look you probably aren't wrong but I'm blinded by my souths bias and Murray is my favourite player so I couldn't do that haha even if it's objectively a bad decision. Hopefully he'll still wind up a top 17 player end of season which I probably can't say about JMK. I am still tempted to keep him (pretty sure I can go Watkins > Turbo and keep JMK at half) but it was mainly motivated by trading in a keeper in the halves since Kennedy was named

just looking through some stats, it's hard to fathom how Haas is averaging 67 as a starter with basically no attacking stats (not counting TBs as an attacking stat for him, he's fkn 6'4 120kg it's implied you'll miss tackles), just 3 tries and 6 line breaks total. Imagine if he goes on an attacking streak at some point what his ceiling could be jesus christ

I've probably put the mockers on him against Parra and for that I apologise in advance to everybody who captained him

    100. His ceiling is 100. Rd 22 last year, although yeah he'll go higher at some point.
