Dont think this is a time to pick up more slow burning cows. Everyone is struggling to find trade outs that arent slow burning cows or mid rangers alreadyWelshy wrote:Surely not too late for Rudolph? 35 average and he makes nearly 200K
If he’s named to start even though I have him it mightn’t be good as I have Shiba with Pap and Drinky in my WFB and need to upgrade Shiba. I could go Shiba to Tommy T but then have no money left to upgrade Walters.RandomSil wrote:Everyone is hoping start but STT is back this week as well so no one reallg knows. If he isnt starting I wont be trading him in.

Current trades are Shiba to S. Crichton Aubbo to Tommy T and Walters to MoFo
Leaves me with
Koro
Haas Carrigan
Lucy Taumalolo E. Katoa
Moses Luai
Capewell S. Crichton
Tommy T Pap Drinky
Grant Brailey Fotuaika Rudolf
JTB Magoulias Wiliame Cleary
Thoughts?
Thanks mate. I have enough for Shiba to Tommy T if Aubbo starts but only 41k spare after that.Aardvark wrote:
Can you pick up Trbo without trading out Aubs? (i.e. for Walters) If you can, just make sure you aren’t blowing a trade on MoFo because of Fomo.
I would also be thinking long and hard about Crichton. If Aubs is named on the bench then different story but there is a bit of a pattern emerging of anticipating shit that might happen and acting on it before it does.
I would prioritise getting a gun in a position you need one (Tommy to WFB is good) and covering any holes in your squad that TLT might throw up.

Issue is I’m then left with a bench of Brailey Grant Rudolf JTB and a weak 18th and 19th man in Walters and Magoulias.
I was talking about S. Crichton too mate not Angus lol.
What would your starting halves be without Cleary mate?GreenMachine wrote:Think I’m going to give Cleary the swerve. Feels mighty risky around these well-informed parts, but seen enough this weekend to know the sort of player I think you want and I would put all of Teddy, Ponga, Turbo and Munster in no particular order above him. I would put Cleary on par with DCE and even then feels marginal with Cleary a really traditional (brilliant, mind) number 7.
George Williams showed there is absolutely still a place for the proper number 7 at the weekend, but otherwise I want quick ball runners around the ruck. Nearly every hooker scored higher than him though. As a POD, Brandon Smith will be in my team if he sees an increase in minutes.
They’re my musings for this TLT eve!

Mind you if it does happen it won’t be named that way tomorrow and would only be announced 6:55pm on Friday Night.

Do you see my 14th-19th man though lol, that’s my worry.Aardvark wrote:
I know you were talking about S.Crichton but chasing points at centre is a losing game so unless you need to make a change I wouldn’t

Thanks mate. Let’s see what happens tomorrow.Aardvark wrote:
Wait and see what TLT throws up but as we have seen this year, coaches are quite prepared to play spin the bottle with outside backs and what you don’t want is an NPR red dot (who knows, Shiba might get a reprieve this week!)
Also if you are going to play cows and guns....that’s what you end up with, cows and guns.
Switching a starting Aubs out for Mofo is pretty sideways as Aubs is arguably a gun/keeper in ctr while starting
We'll see what happens tomorrow arvo then you can start making plans. A disclaimer on all my musing is that you should do the best thing to get the balance right in your team.....but don’t trade because you think you might miss out (even though we all do it!)
Amen to that. Wayne has lost the plot I think.GreenMachine wrote:
Until Knight went off it was Radley who was having the stormer from the forwards out there, which is embarrassing as Murray is twice the player of Victor and formerly captained all of them Australian Rep juniors that Radley was a mere bench player at best in.
Free Cam Murray and let him be the best lock in the world Wayne you stubborn wanker
