This is kind of where I'm at, except with Brailey.
For me there's too many cheapies to pick from this week and I'd rather hold Brailey/Walters one more week and see who looks like the best option next week. Possible that what you make on Walters/Brailey isn't miles behind whatever the best pick makes this week anyway.
I'd not play Rudolf over any of those guys. Assuming it's L.Leilua and not J? If it's J.Leilua, yes, for sure.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
Some further tweets from NRL Physio re Lolo
Shallow bone bruise more common in contact sports (contusions) & rarely see players miss 1-2 weeks+ (other is deep bone bruise which is longer)
Recent NRL examples are all 0-2 weeks except for Johnston (9 weeks, but was post knee surgery)
No indication yet on location (deep/shallow?)/severity of Taumalolo’s bruising. Paul Green hopeful it will only cost him a week, and sounding most likely scenario is 1-3 weeks. But Green said recovery unpredictable, which is exactly right. Not as “set in stone” as sprains/strains

I agree I think mate wait a week and see how it shakes out. Hell if Luai drops from the Panthers that makes the other Panther half juicy. I think the safe play is waiting a week.
And yeah its Lucy Leilua thankfully.

Paix stat in qld cup at hooker earlier this year looked ordinary.
1 game: 62 mins, 26 tackles, 23 run meters
He’ll be a cashout for walters whose a cover for my halves so not totally concern about points

What are the likely minutes of Yeo Kikau Capewell with Martin back?

I'd imagine Kikau gets the rest. He's an explosive impact player where as Yeo and Capewell have bigger tanks.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
This week is doing my head in. Basically I need to plan three scenarios for Maubs. If he starts I keep him, if benched I sell him, if omitted I'll still sell him but it still has implications for others, namely Crichton and Friend. Couple that with Lolo. I'm open to the idea of trading him, but only if I can do something meaningful with the money, which is different in each of the above cases. So basically I need to come up with six plans in preparation for Thursday night unless I'm overthinking it.

Not strictly fantasy related but the knights luck at hooker the last 5-6 years is next level
Rory Kostalotfornothingjasyon’s throat, Slade Griffin’s knee, Levi’s brain, Brailey’s knee, and then even our replacement goes down after 7 minutes needing surgery on his ankle
Who would have thought I’d be glad to have McCullough at the club. Hope Randall gets more chances too

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
Also I very quickly went from not trading this week to considering making 3. I need a captain option (unless I go with api), I need (could use) a centre not naked Williame, and I need cash to get said Captain option without selling lolo. I also need multiple scenarios planned thanks to the widow. Making my 3rd centre trade already. Gotta love that
This is what I’m thinking currently
Aubbs to Crichton
Walters to Paix
Su’a to Haas and haas captain
Have I lost the plot and given in to picking haas too early?
Team for context
Api
Horse Carrigan
Lucy Lolo Su’a
Moses Mann
Capewell Aubbs
Ponga Turbo Papi
Friend drinkwater Grant katoa
Rudolf Luai Walters Williame

I like the trades. I think getting either Haas or Tedesco should be a priority and given the strength of your WFBs getting Haas now adds a nice balance to your team

Cheers mate. Was wanting to sit on my hands and save all 4 trades this week but lolo and aubbs forced my hand
Aubbs starting second row would change things dramatically so gotta be ready in case that happens

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
What do we make of Lolo's bruised knee? I really want to hold, especially if it's only 1 week, but who knows how many weeks these types of injuries can take to heal?
Current trades:
Shibs - SCrichton
Brailey - Teddy
Aubbs - Tex
and if I get rid of Lolo, he becomes Yeo.
Thoughts?

I wouldn’t even be completely surprised if he was benched. Imagine him coming in fresh at the 20min mark against a tired defence.
That’s what I’d do if I were coach...fuck you fantasy players I’d even name my team as a squad not in position

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
I am going Lolo -> Tedesco and Shiba -> Paix/ other cheapie
Lolo out makes sense for me - worst case he is only out for one week but I still get tedesco points this week and much better balance in my team going forward (yeo, carrigan, katoa, leilua 2rf already) given backs are my biggest weakness. Best case he misses a few games/ injury lingers and reduces his minutes short term making it possible to go up from a leilua etc down the track when fully fit and firing.
Not bringing in SCrichton to play wfb means I have a headache filling last spot on interchange now:
TU Rudolf
TD Hopoate
