    This whole ditching Lolo thing opens up a lot

    I can bring in Haas, Tedesco, Mofo and SCrichton, for Aubbs, Lolo, Walters, Knight

    Little poll of interest.

    It’s round 8 of the NRL season

    % chance of each of these being starting 13 or Jersey 14;

    I’ll start (and it’s obvious why the interest)

    Paix 25% Starting 33% Interchange
    Fogarty 50% Starting 0% Interchange
    Clark 50% Starting 75% Interchange

    Thoughts?

    For me ditching Lolo is more about my rank.
    Still outside the 10,000s and no hope of winning this thing (especially as a player who usually revels in bye round strategy), ditching a player with 43% ownership for a player like McInnes with 1% ownership is at least a fairly safe way to make a POD play. Not such a stretch to think Lolo has ongoing problems or less gametime whilst Cam continues to push out fantasy gold. If I wasn’t so poorly ranked and desperate I would definitely hold though, a fit Lolo could be something else again with the new rule changes.

    At this rate Lolo will become a POD.

    Mulvy wrote:This week is doing my head in. Basically I need to plan three scenarios for Maubs. If he starts I keep him, if benched I sell him, if omitted I'll still sell him but it still has implications for others, namely Crichton and Friend. Couple that with Lolo. I'm open to the idea of trading him, but only if I can do something meaningful with the money, which is different in each of the above cases. So basically I need to come up with six plans in preparation for Thursday night unless I'm overthinking it.

    This is exactly why I didn't get Aubs at the beginning of the season. He may well play 2rf every week, his scores may be great, but Robinson is terrible for not playing 1-17... if he's out, you're never sure he's out, if he's named at 11 he can easily be on the bench, and the Roosters randomly rest first teamers entirely. You basically have to stay alert all weekend as well as have several different trade contingency plans in your head. Too much bloody trouble. The widow gets you one way or another, even if he's a keeper

    Sounds reasonable. Paix might be a little low IF Turpin is out for 4 rounds. It's not like Turpin is an established starting 9, so it could be his spot to lose. Whether he's good enough to take advantage idk.

    I'm pretty sure I'm going to trade out Lolo this week.

    If so I will do;
    Staggs to Capewell
    Knight to Yeo
    Lolo to Ponga
    Tapine to MoFo

    Don't bank much cash but strengthens my squad a lot while still giving me the opportunity to possibly get Cleary in next week if I choose.

    This whole Lolo thing makes it easier for me to get my guns tbh.

    I can sell Lolo to Teddy this week (meaning I have Teddy, Turbo and Papy in my WFB) and give my cashies more time to mature, then next week I can get Cleary and still have enough cash to get Lolo back by upgrading either Lucy, Mann or Drinkwater.

    I'm not even really wasting a trade, since selling Lolo for Teddy means I can get one cashout less, plus I have Teddy's points right away.

    Best case scenario for me is that Lolo is out longer than 2 weeks but even if he's back next week, his BE is high enough that he won't get away from me if I wait a week and let my cashies mature a bit more.

    Fair call, what did rein do wrong though, thought new rules would suit him he’s not too bad..

    In other news cashies for dayssss why’d they have to all pop up at once

    This. Rein has always been a solid Hooker. I can't see that he is injured.
