Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
After reading all the sell Taumalolo posts I'm very tempted to do the Taumalolo to McInnes trade. They are identical in price so no chance of cash dilution because I can just go McInnes back to Taumalolo if required. This is crazy loco but if McInnes goes big again like last week I won't care.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
Thoughts on Lolo to Teddy? I'm pretty sure I want to sell Lolo (means my cashies have more time to mature before I buy Lolo back), just not 100% sure on who to go for.
Option A: Teddy - Enormous ceiling but a bit less consistent than a forward. Would mean I have Teddy/Turbo/Papy in my WFB so I could leave that position alone for a while
Option B: McInnes - Would not make any money and would have a harder time getting Lolo back but McInnes has the top tier base. Only risk is Issac Luke stealing mins at hooker.
Option C: Cam Smith - Huge POD among top teams (I doubt many have him at this stage), but doesn't quite have the ceiling of Teddy or McInnes.
Option D: Yeo/Twal/Fotu/some other guy on the upward trend - Would raise more money and make it easier to get Lolo back later but not 100% sure that these guys will be keepers at the end.
Team this week before doing this trade: $331K ITB
Api
Haas, Carrigan
Arrow, Lucy, E Katoa
Mann, Croft
Lomax, Capewell
Turbo, Papy, Drinky
Grant, BBrailey, Lolo, Rudolf
Luai, JHop, Paix, Wiliame

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
I’m a little tempted by early slaughter. I know I shouldn’t, but
Magoulias, Luai, Brailey, Walters -> Clark, Paix, Clune, Tedesco
Risky incoming cows, which is bad.
And Walters, Luai, Brailey all have 30k each to make this week.
But my back three of Kennedy, Paps, Ponga could be sexier.....
Anyone else tempted?

Bit of a conundrum for Robinson imo with the emergence of Lindsay Collins, if he has cemented a spot in their 17, then who do they leave out?
He may opt for Aubbs on the bench for utility value and leave Verrills out, eg Butcher, Liu, Collins, Aubbs.
He still has Radley who can sub into hooker for a short period if needed.

I didn't realise Burr was out with concussion last week. Not good for him to miss a second week, but he and Paasi both back for round 5 by the sounds of things.
Chris Kennedy
@CKennedy80
Lachlan Burr did not pass progression from HIA protocols on Tuesday night and is still unavailable. Agnatius Paasi is also unavailable after a head knock against the Dragons but is expected to face the Cowboys in round 5 #NRL

As much as my fantasy team wants Aubs to start, I agree they don’t need a spare hooker in the 17.

Not really a fan, based on reserve grade stats, Paix and Clune arent even likely to score well.L-Jimmy wrote:I’m a little tempted by early slaughter. I know I shouldn’t, but

I'll probably take a punt on Clark. Not interested in Clune personally and I was liking Paix but gone cold on him.

Personally I don't love it. Very possible you kill off one or two spots in your squad very early on going for 3 risky cows. Your back 3 to me looks pretty solid anyway with Paps and Ponga, and Kennedy looks to have fullback secure in the short term. I would look at maybe bringing in one of the cows or just holding off a week and milking some more money. Could be heaps of injuries this week and better cows available next week for all we know.
Or you could be kissed on the dick and all the new cows fire plus a set and forget back 3.

In the captains run media session he really wraps Collins ability to play big minutes if needed, or short stints with impact. I think the Roosters best team has that 4 forward bench with Butcher, Liu, Collins, Aubbs, which is one of the reasons I started with Friend

Cheers all - that’s really useful thinking. Last night’s zero trade plan is sounding pretty good.

Jeez, looking at that Titans bench, it actually looks really good for Mofo.

The Cowboys are hopeful star lock Jason Taumalolo will miss only Saturday's clash with Cronulla due to bone bruising to his knee. Taumalolo suffered the injury in his team's 36-6 win over the Titans last Friday.
"Sometimes bone bruising ... you don't know how long they can take to actually get better, but fingers crossed it'll only be a week [out]," North Queensland coach Paul Green said.

Good stats that.
Worth noting that there aren’t usually more than one hooker on the field at once. So 10, is a pretty solid number.
CTRs is a minefield of misery and despair.
Yet I see people bringing in two centres this week.

Dude it fucking pains me to have to look at using two trades on bringing in centres this week. Aubbs (possibly no longer starting) and Shibasaki...
I can scrape by for a while with Wiliame, but I also have Lomax who will peak soon.
Gross.
