The NRL's own casualty ward page is updated regularly.

The next time someone updates it, it should be fine then.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
If I calculated correctly, the number of players in each position who scored 50 and over for RD3 with the new rules was:
22 2RFs
17 FRFs
12 HLFs
10 HOKs
10 WFBs
4 CTRs
Just trying to get a rough idea of which positions might be scoring above average with these new rules in play.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 28 - too many guns
Would anyone care to offer any suggestions to this team? Current team with 23 trades and only 3K. Not much idea what options I should take this week;
Koro
Haas Carrigan
Katoa Hess Lucy
Moses Mann
Lomax Willy
Pappy Drinkwater Nofo
Horse Brailey Grant Rudolf
Luai Tolo Watkins Shiba
I simply can't make any big moves with everyone still having a decent role. Only thinking of;
Shiba and Watkins - Crichton and Clark (would possibly play both over Willy and Rudolf too)
The only other player I'd want to upgrade is Brailey but with those trades only have $631 and the only player I'd look to get if Mofo. I could go Capewell though but Brailey to Capewell seems sideways, and Capewell screwed me last year.
I'm still nervous about owning Nofo and not Ponga, Ted or Turbo, but playing the Titans he should produce something. Hard to see his purple patch continuing all year.

Looks like FRF and wfb the most impacted. In both positions 50+ is gun territory, much higher represented than before.Holy Moly wrote:If I calculated correctly, the number of players in each position who scored 50 and over for RD3 with the new rules was:

I'd move Watkins on for sure. Probably need to get some back 3 coverage. Something like Watkins>Fogarty, Shiba>Crichton and bank the cash? Can use it in a few weeks on Brailey/Horse

I wasn't sure since I haven't looked at the previous two rounds or last year. It's only been one round so could be nothing. Maybe more players were eager to get back and play hard??

Are you double counting DPP in both positions like FRF/2RF?

Thanks mate. Pretty much what I was thinking this week. 2 downgrades and see how the week plays out.

Good stats that.
Worth noting that there aren’t usually more than one hooker on the field at once. So 10, is a pretty solid number.
CTRs is a minefield of misery and despair.

I did it as one off for the restart seeing there had been so many changes. It was straight off NRL's casualty ward page. Still had to do a few manuals compared to what they had listed.
Wasn't planning on keeping it updated, will change it to link to the NRL site for future threads.

Yes they are my cts & I expect big points (a try or 2 for both) from them against the Warriors.

Chris Kennedy
@CKennedy80
Warriors coach Steve Kearney says Jazz Tevaga has had another setback at training. It's a "soft tissue injury" unrelated to his knee injury. Will have to wait to see how it presents and what the diagnosis is #NRL
