Think I might just do Walters/Aubbs to Paix and Capewell + 203K and give Brailey one more week.

Next week I'll go Brailey and Wili/Kennedy to +next best cow and someone like Teddy or Cleary Smile

Whats the verdict on Crichton vs JTB? I don't actually need a CTR so am leaning towards the forward but  SC may be useful once Lomax peaks.

Any thoughts would be good (bench order is fine will sort out myself later)

Good on you one and all

I think Crichton will keep the spot now and add more value than JTB mate. Saying that, JTB might have secured himself a spot with Tevaga out longer than expected. I still wouldn't mind taking a punt on JTB, but I think Crichton is the better pick.

Gut feel is that Crichton keeps the starting spot from here on out, but so hard to say.

Even if Aubbs was going to reclaim the spot, if he played this week he may have come off the bench anyway just because he's missed a bit of training.

He ain't getting subbed mate. He'll move to lock. If Mary subs him then he's completely gone loco.

It's going to be one of those gut feel calls that normally goes against me. I'll be flipping right up until lock out

I'm just trying to avoid players who I have doubts over. Mary might be going a bit Loco since his job may be on the line.

R4 community trades are incredibly close - its currently tied between Mofo and Trbo as our trade in this week.

If you haven't voted yet come and do so to break the tie.

It's getting really hard to stay firm on my "hold trades/cash and assess next week" plan when everyone is going hyper aggressive.

Have a bit of FoMo on MoFo, I would've started with him in he's was fit R1. I think him and SST (if he gets fit) are the two props that can jump into the elite 50+ ppg tier. Also another FRF probably addresses the current weak spot in my team.

Thoughts on Hess with this new format? Really short on 2RFs so having a deeper look.

    Cheers

I’ve got a bit of a conundrum to deal with looking forward to next week to get Murray and Paix, which option is better:
    A) Get Capewell and rely on price changes (80k short on current prices with Luai & Mann or 58k short with Drinkwater - likely saves a trade with CTR keeper in Capewell
    B) Get Best instead of Capewell and have a buffer on price changes for same moves - likely requires further trade down line with Best

I really like the Crichton pick, but the downside risk is huge if Maubs comes back and starts. The downside risk of Murray staying in the current 2nd row to lock rotation is far less damaging with the upside almost as good imo.

Agree. I'm looking at 3 trades for this week and I've still got 245k left in the bank, jeez its tempting to make use of it, and that is while holding Taumalolo (and Cleary).

There are just so many players that stand out right now as good buys. Trying to trust my gut on a couple of them and not get caught up in all the excitement over having four trades to spend.

Broader view though, that cash will be great for peaking cows in a few weeks time.

Atm attempting to run the gauntlet by not buying gun WFBs just yet, but that may hurt me, obviously Teddy tonight is a scary prospect. Hoping I can swing some loops and get lucky with a couple of these cows getting a good score.

The reason the 'don't trade keepers for 1-2 week injuries' mantra exists, is because going hyper aggressive fails more often than it succeeds. The guy(s) you trade in score average or underperform (while an NPR you were gonna play outscores them), or worse they get injured/suspended and compound the bad luck.

There will be a few success stories of someone jagging a 70+ for their Taumalolo trade-in, but even success in 1 round doesn't necessarily make it a good move.

You'll gain more than you lose by not following the crowd and trading a keeper imo.
