he will be forced to be a big tackler though, he'll just get around the legs of everything while haas/carrigan/etc take the top

same way turpin wasn't a big tackler in q cup. slower game, different roles, etc.

True. Big test ahead tonight for the young lad.

Has there actually been official confirmation about Turpin being out 4-6 weeks?

As a fellow heavy Bye planner how are you feeling about not having it this year MS? I feel free as a bird and I think I'm just going to trade hard and take risks for once.

All those that are trading in Paix, would you still do it if Dearden makes his way on the bench to spell him?

Or are we expecting Dearden won't make it and Paix for 80

Not really, which is strange because the Broncos are usually pretty transparent.

Croft and Carrigan did video media yesterday and Croft said "Turps will be given every opportunity to play" but then kept avoiding mentioning Paix, as if it was intentional to hide.. dunno why really.

Hearing James Tedesco might be late withdrawal from @sydneyroosters team to play Broncos tonight.

I'm finding it hard to pivot away from saving trades to make moves later

Still trying to find the balance between getting a top 17 now and not burning out late

not really a concern of mine. Paix may need a breather but Dearden isn't a hooker.

Champion fullback James Tedesco is expected to be ruled out of the Roosters side for tonight’s match against the Broncos.

The Dally M player of the year woke up this morning with a temperature and under strict NRL bio-security protocols, any player with a temperature above 37.2 cannot enter an NRL venue.

Coach Trent Robinson is likely to play Brett or Josh Morris in the fullback role.

The Roosters will not confirm their starting line-up until an hour before kick-off.
