Does anyone think he is generally scared to be out there.

2 dropped tries over the line in consecutive weeks because he doesn't go hard at the ball in fear.of getting hurt.

Everytime he runs the ball he looks to go.to ground and submit at any opportunity and last night he found himself in space with a run at the line twice and once he threw a hospital pass to oates and the other he ddint even try to break the line.

Not to mention in defence he is an absolute passenger out wide.

I have never heard him speak but I can't help but think he would have some deep Indian accent.

That seems the only reasonable explanation.

Haas definitely more effective at 55-65 mins - once Broncos have the cattle to do it. I actually don’t think it hurts his fantasy output either (totally unverified, but I think before these two 85s in blowouts it’s true)

He really needs to hang up the boots he is a shell of the player he once was. Too proud to retire he needs the tap on the shoulder

You see centers in the position he was in last night, 10 out from the line, defence sliding across and most other centers will drop there shoulder and bulldog there way to the try line... instead he chucks a hospital ball to Oates to get bowled over the sideline.

Same thing when he took a panzy swing at the ball in the air, any other PLAYER would be hungry as fuck for that ball.

I think all the hate in the media these last couple years has maybe given him some mindset he needs to go out on a high, rather than being pushed out. Doesn't help when your coach is also blowing smoke up your ass every media session to try and detract the haters... Just makes the audience and media focus on him more.

Watching Darius is like a throwback to the 80s and early 90s before professionalism and sports science, where high quality players just fell off a cliff in their late 20s/early 30s and ended their careers in reserve grade. Except for the reserve grade part

My main 3 observations of Darius last night

1. The kick into the try line where any other person would have caught that ball and put it down, instead he takes an airy fairy swing at it because he can feel the defenders behind him and is scared to get hit

2. Last night the roosters spread the ball right and Darius was caught flat footed because he was standing about 20 metres in from the sideline. Ball got to Crichton who just had to jog to the line because Darius just stood still and gave up.

3. Manu made a half break down the right hand side of the field... Came to Darius and Manu literally put his pink on him and Darius just slowly fell on his ass.

WAS RIDICULOUS!!!! He needs to go and I am not even a Broncos supporter. If I was a member of the club and he was picked next week I would rip up my membership and demand a refund because the Coach is just having a laff! He is no longer taking his team, his fans and winning seriously if he keeps picking Boyd. He is a QLD and Aus legend but he is way past it. I am sorry

its an embarassment.

its hard to know what to believe, there were rumours that siebold didn't want to play darius at all this season. it was basically a compromise to let him have this year and he was pretty clearly put to centre because he's not up to fullback.

he has to be dropped.
