I can see the sense in getting in Mitchell or getting in Best (for JMK in your case), but not both of them.

If you're making/wasting the trade so that you can engage in a too clever for its own good marginal looping strategy for a couple of weeks rather than build your best squad for the long term then you might be playing this game wrong.

I suspect you may be right

The issue for my side is that everyone else is performing and there are others that I want to bring in. Papy probably goes big at some stage, but could be waiting a long time losing value and points waiting for it to happen. I am backing Mitchell to do it over the next few weeks and find his feet at fullback. Will be scary when that happens.

When did you run out of trades last year, after your trade out guns strategy? Maybe save one or two.

Yep me too mate. I’ve only said it about 3-4 times already lol. I’m very keen to bring him in for Brailey.

As someone else said if he keeps going well there then there is every chance Watson comes back off the bench in a loose lock role and McCullough could keep seeing 70-80mins.

I thought Watson was only out a month but then others on here have said that’s now likely to be 6-8 weeks which is even better for McCullough.

He's a very interesting option, but unfortunately price and another HOK puts him out of contention for me. But if you have the means to do it, seems a pretty interesting option for sure.

I asked Barry Toohey who knows the joint and he doesn’t seem confident on 80mins every week. Could be a cheeky pod if proven wrong

McCullough and Grant would be set and forget on my bench. Then figure out who plays out of JTB, Paix, Rudolf and Katoa.

One of Magoulias, Luai or Wiliame will be punted to Paix, not sure which one yet.

A couple of seasons ago I got on Alvaro early and he managed to average around 49-50 at prop for me that season for the most part and he had less than 2percent ownership.

I don’t mind a POD every so often so hopefully not many at all jump on McCullough but I think they will if it means pissing off Brailey pronto.

How many trades do you have left? Surely you aren't planning to keep Macca

If Randall is on the bench this week I think I’ll stay clear but if not all aboard!

Macca is brave. I wouldn’t expect more than 45 long term off him.

Best is averaging about 37 points in base stats at the moment, around what he will be priced at this week, 20 tackles, 170 meters. He is going to bust a lot of tackles all season and have the upside of a number of tries and try assists.

If Watson plays a loose lock role off the bench when he’s back McCullough could be a keeper.

Luai, Magoulias and Wiliame are on my chopping block but none of them give me enough cash to upgrade Brailey to a keeper even if I trade 2 of them out this week I still wouldn’t have enough for Brailey to a keeper the week after. The only cash cow this week who looks the goods to me as well this week is Paix.

I desperately want Brailey gone. If I went Brailey to Paix it leaves my bench really light on.

It seems just Horse and McCullough are options right now for Brailey.

    I have 18 trades left.

Team right now with 112k spare is:

    Koro
    Haas MoFo
    Lucy Yeo Carrigan
    Cleary Moses
    Capewell
    Crichton
    Pap Ponga Drinky

    Brailey Grant Rudolf JTB
    E. Katoa Luai Magoulias Wiliame

You’ve been burnt before? With how quick the game is though and more tackles being made now this favours guys like Macca and McInnes.

If I said to you Brailey to Macca or Horse who would you pick?

Id say Mofo but you already have him, going Macca/Horse has mid range stick potential and costing another trade. Horse I like especially with no Bateman now but Sticky worries me. Tapine is flying atm but not sure he has much left in him. I’d either go cashie and build money or Horsey

What are your thoughts on Josh McGuire? He seems to be getting bigger minutes this year.

To me Paix is the only good looking cow this week.

Not for me McGuire hasn’t got the attacking potential to go above where he has historically. Try and steer away from the mid rangers

I can see why you think you need to trade out Brailey but honestly I think banking a trade and putting Katoa in for Brailey back to NPR, then getting paix for whichever works best for you.

I haven't done the Math but does Macca earn much more cash than Brailey if they both score on there average?

Leagues based on end of year overall ranking nothing to do with performance in previous league mate
